This place was terrible and filthy. The light fixture fell apart when it was touched, the sink faucet was broken and the heater clanged loudly when it was turned on to the only position that would blow air! I went to the office and asked the management to come to the room with me to show them the condition of the room, requested a refund and was denied. This place should be closed down. I'm not certian who to contact about lodging complaints but I intend to follow up and report this dump. It would have been better to have stayed in my car!

Night clerk was the only "good" thing at this motel! He was pleasant, helpful & courteous.
Our room was on the second floor, accessible only by outside stairs - no elevator. Two of us staying the night are handicapped. We had much difficulty navigating the stairs but made it without incident (we accepted the upper floor, hoping for a quieter night.)
The room was so stinky we had to air it out with door wide open for a while.

Bathroom, tub/shower walls had "brown" material smeared on them and lots of stuck on hair!
The sheets were wrinkled - slept in before us????
The beds were lumpy, with ridges throughout - like trying to stay on a ridge and out of the valley or vice versa.
Traffic outside was extremely noisy. The motel is in a "corner" between one way streets and the traffic "screamed" through a curve at the "corner," nosily revving engines and speeding past the motel until 4:00 a.m.
Maybe the carpet had been vacuumed, but we still did not want to walk on it with bare feet!
We felt dirty/contaminated by our stay there; we could hardly wait to return home and disinfect ourselves and everything we had taken into the room.
We cannot rate this place low enough! Sorry - Not.

Also this one was booked through the organization of our round trip. I had strong doubts about it but we wanted to give it a try. Parking our car was dodgy; there were some 'types' with beer cans hanging around the parking lot. We didn't feel comfortable. Walked over to reception and when entering we immediately smelled a very strong sewage smell. A young couple manned the reception and the man asked if he could help us. I gave him the voucher and after looking at it a couple of times for some reason he thought we needed two rooms, which was not the case. I asked him if we could see the room before checking in, which was OK. When he came from behind the reception we saw his fly was open and his trousers were hanging down his buttocks. Not a very nice sight, as he was also quite big. We took one glance into the room and after seeing a big stain on the carpet we decided we didn't want to stay there.
No problem, we checked into the Holiday Inn.

This is a typical EconoLodge. Nothing fancy. Priced right. Clean, quiet rooms. I felt sorry for the people in the room under me, since the floor squeaked!
