This place is incredible! The views are spectacular, it's a quiet little ranch style bed and breakfast nestled up in the mountains just a short drive from the town of Lava Hot Springs. The owners Sher and Scott are very friendly, hospitable, down to earth people who welcomed us, shared with us and just went above and beyond our expectations to make my birthday weekend spectacular. Their place is so warm and inviting the moment you drive up. Sher was so kind in taking care of some nice last minute touches for my husband and had a lovely gift awaiting me, along with a nice welcome basket of goodies for us to share, passes to the hot pools, and breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Sher and Scott had a wonderful breakfast spread laid out for us in the morning with fresh hot waffles, sausage and delicious homemade syrups and jellies. This place is incredible, we certainly be back again and we've already told several people about how much we enjoyed our stay. We will recommend it over and over again. Thanks Sher and Scott, we can't wait to visit again!

We chose Moose Hollow Ranch B&B for our anniversary. We were very happy with the room, the amenities and the overall atmosphere. The breakfast was the definitely the highlight. Sher was a pleasent host and welcoming. We plan to visit again next year. The outside animals really added to the ambiance of the lodge.

My wife and I have been exploring hidden and highly vacationed places in Arizona, Utah, Idaho, and western Colorado and Wyoming for the past 5 years. We have made it a point to stay at B&Bs whenever possible, appeciating the knowledge of the area that only local residents can provide. My wife has settled on two places, Bryce Canyon, Utah, and Lava Hot Springs, Idaho, as her return favorites. Moose Hollow has spoiled her for all of our previous B&Bs, and there have been quite a few. I would more than rate it highly: I would recommend it as a destination, along with the town's hot springs.

Springtime is a wonderful time to visit. So the weather is not predictable, that is okay :-) It is a cozy place that offers a warm friendly environment. The animals remind you of springtime. Outdoors the horses, bunnies, chickens...just what a farm or ranch experience should offer! The kids loved the dog, she is so sweet. She barks to announce your arrival and she is attentive the whole time you are outside if you want her to be...how cute! The lodge is beautiful and rustic all in one! The beds are very comfortable, and the rooms are cozy. A little fridge if ya want to grab something to keep in your room, and (you might not even have to buy any) there are so many snacks available for free at the lodge! Bed & breakfasts are meant to be a down to earth friendly welcome when you visit feeling--something like visiting a relative to stay (only with benefits of privacy!) and that is exactly what you can get at Moose Hollow!
