We came to Kellogg to buy a truck and stayed here one night and did late check out (5pm instead of 11 am for $20).
We were quite happy with it. The bedding is nice and everything was very clean. The room has a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, TV, hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is located across the street from the Silver Mountain Resort where you can take the longest gondola ride up to the ski runs and restaurant. We only took the ride and didn't ski but it was gorgeous! You can get off up top and hang out.
The hotel is pet friendly, which is nice. They have board games you can use in the lobby. There's an indoor pool and hot tub. We didn't use the pool but we did used the hot tub.
One of the reasons I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the hot tub was only luke warm. I was shivering while I was in it. When it's cold out, you want a hot tub to be hot.
The other reason for four stars was the complimentary hot breakfast was inadequate. If you like cereal, waffles and microwave McMuffins, you'd probably think it's fine. However, I try to avoid processed carbs and sugar. I see how technically, it is a hot breakfast when you zap it yourself in the microwave and make a waffle but I was expecting more. They had yogurt but it was full of sugar. They had oranges and apples, which was what I ate. We ended up going somewhere else for breakfast.
Overall, great place. I'd recommend it to friends. The staff was really nice and very helpful.
