This property is part of a growing chain. Rooms are relatively large, nicely furnished, and quiet. The pool/spa is very nice and the continental breakfast is above average. There is a scarcity of newer properties in the Hailey/Ketchum/Sun Valley area, especially those that are reasonably priced. This place offers a comfortable base camp to explore the Sawtooth Mountains as well as the Sun valley area attractions.

This was our first stay at an AmericInn property- it was pretty impressive for what might be described as a typical chain motel. The building has some nice rustic touches to move it beyond a sterile motel. The check in, if not exactly warm, was efficient. Check out was both pleasant and efficient. The property has both vacation ( pool, exercise room) and business ( meeting room) facilities and a welcoming entry and breakfast area. The room was large and well furnished and equipped. Good enough bed, linens and towels. Excellent complementary internet and TV channel selection. Amazing good complementary breakfast with hot items. This is a very good property and likely as good a value as one will find in the Sun Valley area.

We stayed a couple of nights at this hotel while touring Craters of the Moon. The Americinn website made it look like a fairly average hotel, but we were all impressed by the reality. It seems almost brand new. The pool is lovely, and the exercise room overlooks it so our kids could swim as we worked out. Breakfast was included and was fine...the typical free hotel breakfast. The one complaint is that, although they make a big deal about how quiet the rooms are, we were surprised by the noise. There's absolutely no sound transmission through the walls, but the doors bang incredibly loudly, and the air conditioners are noisy. Not sure it would have been enough to notice had they not made such a big deal of how quiet the rooms are!

The internet is wired, not wireless, which isn't ideal.

One other thing: cell phone service was almost non-existent in the room (T-Mobile) but it wasn't much better elsewhere in Hailey.

The rooms here are quiet spacious and clean. I ended up getting sick when I was here-and I must say that I was comfortable in bed. If I could not be in my bed, then this was the next best place.

The hotel was a good value for its money. The drive from here to Sun Valley is about 10 minutes. There is a microwave and fridge in the room. Breakfast is included-which is basic with yogurt, cereal, waffles, toast, banannas, and hard boiled eggs.
