We were going to hike the Table Top trail and wanted to stay closer (Jackson is too far).
Thew room was ok, though a little bit dark. Beds were ok too, but could be softer.
Sound proof wasn't very good, but we slept well enough.

The room was clean and spacious. the bed linens were nice and new and the bed was fairly comfortable, but like most hotels, somewhat hard. There was no refrigerator. The main reason we stayed there was because they had a pool but the pool was very, very old, and the water was a green color, and the smell very closely resembled a fish tank. That really grossed me out. All in all, It was an average to good stay. If you have to stay in driggs or tetonia, it's probably your best bet.

We got a room on the back side of the hotel which is where the swimming pool is. On entering we immediately smelled mold - unusual in this part of the country which is very dry. Two of us got asthma - which for me was the first asthma attack in over 17 years. In the middle of the night I tried to turn on the air conditioning to freshen the air and accidentally turned on the heater. The room filled with a very strong smell - that smell you get when you turn your furnace on for the first time but extremely strong. I could not sleep for the combined bad smells and the asthma. The room was dark and dreary. Breakfast in a cramped room was boxed mini-donuts (chocolate- and powdered sugar-covered), juice, coffee, things to put in the toaster, cereal, and hard-boiled eggs - not too healthy and nothing to rave about. The good: Because of our asthma the hotel let us leave after one day despite a 4-day reservation. For the area, it is inexpensive. If you must stay there, ask for a room in the front part of the hotel away from the pool and dampness.

The staff would not get out of their front desk chair I think even if the building was on fire. The manager was in his PJ's and both front desk people we talked to were both VERY rude. It was like it was an inconvenience for us to be guests there. My husband is a BW Elite member and lives out of hotels for his job, this by far was the worst BW we've ever stayed in and would never stay there again. And by all means, DO NOT goto Tony's Pizza place restaurant pretty much next door. They say its the best food in town, well it took 20 minutes to get our order taken, 1 1/2 hours to get our pizza and it just tasted like a Dijorno frozen pizza.
