Despite seeing a few bad reviews (the picture of the dirty towels is crazy, there's no way that can be the same hotel), we went with the Budget saver because the price and location were excellent. It's a quick 7 block walk downtown and to the lake, there's a grocery store (peterson's) close and the room had a refrigerator and microwave. The room was spacious and clean and the staff was very accomodating despite the fact that we rolled in to town around midnight on Friday. I highly recommend it.

This motel is basic, but I have never had an issue with the management. They have always been very friendly and accommodating. Our rooms have been clean and there is a basic continental breakfast provided. We stay here when visiting our daughter as it is usually the most reasonable, especially in the summer when rates in Coeur d Alene are high. It is close to downtown where there are lots of activities.

Went to my room and saw that the room hadn't been cleaned, requested very politely for the room to be cleaned. The maid, who had her boyfriend with her, was very upset that she needed to clean the room after 8:30pm. They acted and smelled as if they had been drinking and was intoxicated. I waited in the parking lot while she cleaned the room. When I saw her leaving the room, I went up to the room and received a call from the manager saying if I caused anymore problems, he was going to ask me to leave, he stated that the maid came to him crying and told him I had slammed the door and left. I then went down to the lobby I asked for my money back and he was very rude and said your not getting your money back, the manager was also intoxicated I left immediately feeling taken advantage of and wasn't going to stay around for anymore accusations. I will never stay here again and hope that people reading this will see the scamming and hostel nature of this hotel. This is not a place for a good nights rest.
