Every room has been redecorated in various themes. We chose the Tuscan room, which for winter, was inviting. The theme details were perfect, soft towels and sheets, nice tub, newer fixtures and very clean. It was hard to imagine what might have been a cheap motel at one time, be so elegantly remodeled. And the lobby is filled with information about the area. This was our Christmas trip and we walked to town, past splendid window displays and the town was dressed to the nines for the season.

We stayed at this great motel..... Girls' weekend.. The place was absolutely spotless. Very cozy. The location is perfect. You can walk downtown and to the lakefront.
The staff was so friendly and helpful. Suggested restaurants etc.
We are planning another trip this coming summer and have already made plans to stay here.

Stayed at this motel with my wife in August. Very freindly owner, has a senior discounted if you qualify. Each room has a different theme to it that wasn't over done. It was very clean and only a few short blocks to the downtown or beach. A very nice place to stay , I would definetly stay there again as I have been there about 3 times already when traveling thru the area.

A co-worker recommended the Flamingo Motel to us, and I'm grateful she did. We only stayed one night but we were very impressed with the room. We stayed in the Tuscany room. Very cozy and clean. I liked that we parked right in front of our room. It is also close to downtown which made it easy to walk to the lake as well as a variety of shops and restaurants. We'll definately stay there again.
