This La Quinta was our last stop on the six day road trip with our kitty. While the property was a bit tired, it had all the amenities we needed along with a fitness center. The room was smaller than other La Quintas on the trip, but our kitty really liked the smaller room and how quiet it was. Very clean and the staff were quite friendly and helpful. The Perkins restaurant next door is no longer open so we tried the Sage Cafe across the street at the Sinclair station truck stop. It was surprisingly good, spanking clean, and had a hearty menu. They made the best egg & ham on an english muffin the next morning. Great value for a comfortable bed for the night.

We were really surprised at how, like another reviewer put it, "ghetto" this hotel was... especially for a La Quinta! The washer had only boiling hot water and the dryer had a razor blade in it. Their bottom floor looks like a basement and the hot tub had so much bleach in it it ruined my bikini and made me sick. The windows had screens taped to the building and shutters falling off. The breakfast was a joke, no oj just Sunny D, yuck and carbs everywhere, no eggs not even boiled. I addressed a lot of these issues with the manager and actually got our money back. I'm not sure how much selection their is as far as hotels in Caldwell but on our trip back we drove a little longer and stayed at the La Quinta in Twin Falls, ID... new hotel that was amazing! This place is ok if you're just passing thru but I think they should lower their prices if they don't update the hotel.

Room was very clean and comfortable after a long day on the road. Very friendly staff and very helpful - and the rate was one of the best we have ever had on our travels.

My husband was worried about drugs and other problems at this hotel. The lock on our door was broken like someone had kicked in the door. All he could say is it is ghetto!! WE WILL NEVER STAY AT La Quina again!!
