“Nice airport hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 January 2012

We come to Boise every few years to visit family. Because of a very late arrival time and very early departure time, we decided to try the airport Fairfield Inn for our first and last night in Boise. The free airport shuttle arrived quickly after calling the hotel and the ride took about 5 minutes. The hotel is typical for Fairfield, nothing fancy, but very well maintained with excellent housekeeping. The only downside was some traffic noise from the freeway. Our arrival night we were at the freeway end and heard some traffic noise. Our departure night we requested a room away from the freeway and heard no traffic noise.
All Fairfield's have a nice continental breakfast but this one added biscuits and gravy, sausage and eggs to the selection.
The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpfull.
If you want to be close to the airport this hotel is an excellent choice.

Room Tip: high rooms at freeway end may have some traffic noise. You wont notice any if the heater/ac is on.

“Good access to airport - definitely recommend”

Just what you expect form a Fairfield Inn. Ran us around $100 for the night. About 15 min from lots of restaurants in the downtown area and 5 min form the airport if that.

“Nice, new and clean but the internet is really very bad”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2011

Providing you don't need internet services then this place comes highly recommended. Staff are very helpful and friendly and the breakfast while continental is very good. all rooms appear to be spotless.

Room Tip: All seem good but if trains bother you then ask for a room at the back as the hooting may disturb..

“Great location, comfortable, definitely recommend!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 July 2011

Nice quiet hotel with good access to the airport. Conveniently located right off I-84. The room and bathroom were both clean and comfortable. The a/c worked well. The beds and pillows were definitely comfortable enough. The best part about the hotel? The breakfast! I loved how you could make full size waffles and also mini waffles. They also had biscuits and gravy, another favorite. The one drawback with the parking may be that the parking lot is shared with the Hampton, but you wont end up parking all that far, so it is not a big deal. Overall I gave the hotel a 4 out of 5, because everything was perfectly fine, but it wasn't as nice as the recently updated Fairfield Inn's (with the cool funky oranges and lime greens and blues in the decor). But we would definitely stay here again!

“nice location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 June 2010

This hotel was a second choice when I decided to end the day. Across the parking lot is a Hampton Inn that had no rooms. The front desk was very accommodating by placing us away from the freeway. I do wish that there was an ice maker on each floor. There is only one ice maker on the first floor. The rooms are good with a coffee maker, microwave and refrig. Bathroom is nice size. I did have a problem signing into the wi-fi network but that was my problem for not reading the screen correctly. Once I was logged in there was no problems, speed could be better. This was a smoke free property. Breakfast area seated maybe 20. Waffles that you make, the usual items, overall good.
I would recommend this hotel.
