We usually stay at the Hampton Inn when we go to Boise to visit friends and family. Our last stay had a few issues. We stayed during New Years weekend during which time they closed the pool for maintenance. Who closes the pool during a holiday weekend? Also, the shower head in our room was quite leaky and there was low water pressure. The eggs they served at breakfast tasted like cardboard and the maid service left much to be desired.

My wife and I have stayed at this inn several times while visiting my son and his family in Mountain Home (USAF aviator, Mountain Home AFB). Because of the weirdness of trying to get to Mountain Home from Miami, we stay at the Boise location when arriving late the night before, driving to Mountain Home the next morning, and then reverse the process coming back to Boise a week or so later. When we got back to the inn this last trip a week after we had flown in, someone (I suppose the maid, or someone in the manager's office) had written on the notepad by the phone:

"Welcome Home!". To say the least, this is not an attitude we are used to living in a large city.

The one in Mountain Home is also very nice.

Im a Hilton Honors Diamond that appreciates the shuttle service and the attention to detail in cleanliness. Flying in/out of BOI is very worry-free and reliable with this property. The money spent on the property with an advance-purchase keeps the value a real deal.

Stayed at this location 2 nights while on business week of November 14. Typical Hampton Inn that is in need of a renovation. Decent room and amenities. Not sure why Hampton keeps putting their refrigerators in the furniture, they never work right because of heat buildup.

Definitely worth considering if you're flying in for business or an overnight trip.
