Stayed here for a night in October. This hotel was very nice and offered the consistency and quality one would expect from Marriott. My room was clean, had frig and mini kitchen, and comfy beds. The hotel offered an above average breakfast buffet.

The best part of the hotel was its close proximity to the river. I did not bring my fishing rod, but next time will for sure. There is an awesome river trail that runs at least 5 miles along the side of the Boise River, and is only a short 3 minute walk from the hotel. This river offers great fishing year round, and tubing in warmer weather. If you head to the north you can walk by Bronco Stadium and the famous "smurf turf". If you head the other way you can pass by some smaller reservoirs. The entire river trail is very scenic with lots of wildlife and foliage.

The gym at this hotel was also very good. There were elliptical machines, treadmills, recumbent bikes, and a universal gym. Also an outdoor pool and jacuzzi were available.

Overall all, a great hotel with a great location. I will definitely stay here again if I visit Boise.

Clean, convenient to downtown, nice breakfast, great beds - nothing more could be expected.

Stayed here for Family Weekend visiting my son at Boise State University. Complementary shuttle picked me up at the airport, was able to check into my room at 12:30pm. The hotel is next to the greenbelt, a 25 min walk to campus. All staff was very helpful from the shuttle drivers to the front office staff.
Breakfast was excellent, a wide variety and large dining area.
The room was great, spacious and clean.

Springhill Suites' location is pretty. It is close to the river, downtown and good restaurants. Breakfast needs improvement. The fruits were of poor quality; sausage looked undercooked; toasters were not working properly; containers of coffee, butter, cream cheese and sugar were not replenished quick enough. The room furniture definitely needs updating though kept clean. Front desk service was exceptional. Housekeeping was not quite satisfactory. A requested item over the phone was never delivered.
