The hotel lobby area and breakfast areas were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast selections were good (yogurt, cereal, waffles, eggs, ham, fruit...).The front desk staff was exceptionally attentive and accommodating. I did not visit the pool area. I requested a room on a high floor near the end of the hall and they were able to get a room that met both of those requests. Even on the 11th floor the elevators never took long to arrive. Getting in and out of the parking garage takes a little practice but it is convenient (covered parking with spaces close to the elevators). If you have a pickup it will be tight because of the sharp turns.
My room was comfortable: lounge chair/ottoman, desk chair and desk, flat-screen TV, and a a small fridge. It didn't really bother my but I could not get the thermostat to keep the room at any temp other than 72. Two things kept me from rating this hotel a 5: 1) the headboard for the bed is attached to the wall and the mattress rubs and squeaks when someones moves on the bed. Because the headboard is attached to the wall the sound travels between the rooms. I'm glad my neighbors weren't on their honeymoon. 2) The sheets weren't of especially good quality. (Not bad, but not great.) and the fitted sheet didn't fit the mattress so each morning it had popped up over the corner of the mattress.
The location is great with lots of good dining options close by. I'd stay here again.
Room Tip: The pool is on the 5th floor. Might want to see what's available on that floor if you want to be...
