Stayed here for three nights in the spring of 2011, mostly because I couldn't find another room downtown in an affordable hotel. The location was decent, but the rooms looked like they were last upgraded in 1982. Staff was pleasant and the place was clean, but honestly, the hotel was kind of a dump.

I just returned from a business trip to Boise, and I stayed at the Owyhee Plaza. I chose this hotel because of it's location right in downtown, and it's very low price compared to other downtown hotels.

I paid an extra $8 for the "Deluxe" room, which was nice. The bed was comfortable, and had about 12 soft pillows. There was a desk, a flat screen TV, and nice decor.

The only downside was the bathroom, which wasn't really updated, and was very small. The door wouldn't open all the way because the toilet was in the way, and the toilet was very low to the ground.

The hotel had a nice restaurant with good breakfast, and a bar with projection TV. The hotel is within walking distance to all of downtown Boise, and several nice restaurants and bars.

Though not as fancy as a typical downtown hotel, it was well worth the price, and I would definitely stay here again if the price was the same.

We needed a price-worthy hotel to use while visiting family in Boise.
Staff is friendly, rooms are adequate but somewhat noisy. Elevator had a problem while we were there, but they are fixing. I'll stay here again when I .need a place to rest my head.

Not very good. 85 bucks for one night. They said we'd have a mini fridge. Nope. The TV was horrid quality (a crappy Vizio). However, the bed (king size) was awesome and the pillows and comforter were very nice. Good location but don't hope for much.
