Was in Woodstock when I accompanied my husband for a business trip. This is a nice hotel with clean, non-smoking, big room and sufficient amenities e.g. bathroom necessities, fridge, microwave, LCD TV, iron and board, guest landry area, complimentary wireless access in-room and complimentary breakfast. The bed and sheets were very comfortable, and the towels were clean and soft. The staffs were friendly in helping me to order deliveries. And a short walk would bring you to a variety of restaurants. Major stores e.g. Home Depot, Lowe, Target and Walmart are just a short drive away. It is just around the corner of exit from highway, so convenient to get to other places.

Cons: We stayed on the 1st floor with windows facing carpark and near the ice vending machine and rear exit door. So it can be a little loss of privacy (need to draw up the curtains) and noisy (especially if someone uses vending machine or going in/out early in the morning).

P/S: We stayed in a double-room. Would have prefered a suite with pantry as it was quite a long stay, but the hotel doesn't have that.

I stayed in this wonderful hotel for a nice stay.. to have a deserving vacation... and wonerful..delicious food.. omelets..wow.. My mouth is just watering thinking about that.. Ac was a bit crap.. and the location a bit dark... but apart from it it was having nice restaurants in the vicinity..which make up the shortcomings...

The Hampton Inn Woodstock is a very nice hotel. It met all of our needs when we stayed last March. Hampton has decent sized hotel room, comfortable beds, and clean bathrooms. It seems to have been remodeled when we stayed. We booked here again for March 2011 as well. The location is less than 5 minutes away from my brother and his family and can't be beat. The breakfast in the morning is great too! You have your choice of juices, coffee, pastries, muffins, bagels, and also items you can warm up such as omlets, etc. The service was very good too! We had a family member that works for the hotel chain and we were to get a discount for our stay. The gentleman at the front desk made the call to verify and everything was set! I will say the elevators were a little noisy and incredibly slow, but I tended not to use them anyway because the hotel is not that many floors. All in all, an awesome stay and will continue to use Hampton Inn Woodstock in the future! Thank you

This Hampton seemed smaller than ones I am used too. Bed was still comfy. Hotel was quiet. We stayed one night after a ball tournament so we didn't have to drive home so late, so it served the purpose of getting some rest.
