“Outstanding Staff!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

I stayed at the Days Inn in Valdosta in January, 2012. After leaving, I discovered that I had lost a gold ring my wife had made from me some years ago. Apart from its normal value, it was a very sentimental piece, as she had the jeweller set her original engagement diamond into the ring. I was devastated to have lost it. I called back about 4 hours after leaving and spoke with David, who took my number and said he'd call back. About 20 minutes later, David called and reported that the housekeeping staff had found my ring and that he would send it back to me at home. I got my ring back 2 days later. David and Lauren, who both work the front desk went out of their way to contact UPS and make sure my ring was securely packaged, insured and shipped back to me. I am very grateful for the entire staff's courtesy and honesty. The room was clean and well-maintained. The room price was very reasonable.

Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know about your stay with us. I am so glad we were able to return your ring. I will let the room attendant know you spoke about her and her honesty. We really appreciate your business and we hope to see you again and have you as our guest at the Days Inn.

“Great for an overnight stay...”

It is just off the highway and much quieter than the bustle of Exit 118 which appealed to us. The staff were courteous, the senior rate was great, the convenience store was open...yeah.... All pluses!
The room was nicely done, clean and certainly big enough for two people on an overnight stay with luggage, bicycles and assorted car travelling stuff. We were more than satisfied with this accommodation and would return.

Thank you for your comments. We are in a location that is not as congested as the other exits. There are some restaurants in the area as well. We do try to be a clean comfortable and economic choice when traveling through Valdosta.

“not what we expected”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 December 2011

We tried this place because we needed some place to lay down for a couple of hours while on our way to Orlando. The price was cheap, $45. I was hoping it would be decent. Well, it was not the worst but I wish I would have forked out a few more dollars. The room was very outdated and the floor was dirty. The towel racks were rusted, the room in general was not clean, and the bed was uncomfortable. The breakfast was not much either. The orange juice was orange flavored water. Days Inns in general appear to be on the down hill slide.

I apologize that you were not happy with the accomodations at Days Inn North. Our rooms are dated but we strive to provide clean and comfortable rooms for every guest. I was somewhat perplexed about your statements about breakfast though. We do not have a breakfast here at Days Inn North. We do provide coffee in the lobby and have a Burger King next door. I do hope you will give us another opportunity to have you as our guest.

“Made sure we stayed here again...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 December 2011

Last year, I got the best night's sleep at this hotel that I've had in over a year, and so when we needed to go out of town again, I made sure to make reservations at the same hotel. Sure enough, best night's sleep I've had since the last time I stayed here! It's an older hotel, BUT it's clean, quiet, extremely comfy, the people are nice and the price can't be beat. I love the beds and could have slept in well past the check-out time.

This place is perfect to break your travel for a night or two; right off I-75, with pretty much everything you need within walking distance (food, gas, etc.) We will definitely be staying here again.

“Great motel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 December 2011 via mobile

Very clean, large room, very nice man at front desk, great price...for a basic motel, this place hits on all cylinders. The first room we looked at smelled very strongly of perfume, but the man at the front desk gave us a key to look at another room which had no bad smell at all. Just goes to show you that sometimes you need to try another room, and that a motel can't always control what other guests do! Overall, great motel! Just be warned that it is not in town, but rather about 15 minutes north of town.

Thank you so much for your comments. We are north of town but, exit 22 is growing. We now have a few new fast food restaurants and a new pizza place along with dine in and local eateries. There is shopping and other activities within a 6 mile area. Exit 22 does have less congestion than the other exits with easy access.
I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. I do hope to see you again soon when you visit Valdosta. Thank you so much for choosing Days Inn North.
