My wife and I stayed at Tybrisa November 12-19, 2011. We chose Tybrisa as a result of swapping timeshare points through RCI. Reviews about the newly remodeled units sold us, but what a disappointment! The exterior grounds and facilities are nice and the unit was clean, but beyond that, everything about the interior of unit #312 was substandard except the new laminate floor. The bed was terrible, sitting on some sort of frame and sheetmetal facade that creaked and rattled with the slightest movement. The TVs are old and picture tubes are fading. Cupboards and cabinets are a joke, painting and carpentry looks like it was done by a kindergarten class... couldn't open the dishwasher without opening the silverware drawer (and vice versa). Speaking of silverware, imagine a childs play silverware set from the 1950's. We can't imagine what this place must have looked like before the 2-year "renovation". The most positive point of Tybrisa is ocean view from your porch, and the proximity to the ocean... and that's not enough to bring us back again.

We spent the week of Aug 6-13 at Tybrisa, as we have each August for about 7 years. It is amazing how Tybrisa is continually improving each year we are there. Again this year, they re-did the inside of all the villas, the pool looks great and they have even more planned for the future. But for us, it was a pleasure to stay there, the manager and his staff are very friendly and inviting, a real pleasure to deal with. The facilities were great.
It was hot (as it should be in August) and we did have some pretty heavy rains a few nights, but we enjoyed just sitting on the balcony and watching what was going on at the beach as well as on the pavillion. Most afternoons and evening were spent by the pool where the water was warm and inviting. It was rough to have to leave yesterday as we really enjoyed ourselves. We will be back next year.

Super location; nicely renovated and very comfortable. Also clean. We love coming here. The staff is great. Right at the pier. Great pool. Good eats and shopping within easy walking distance. We love Tybee and Tybria. Lots of bang for your buck.

Sitting in the condo right now on Memorial Day, actually on the balcony listing to the band play in the pavilion. It is like having front row seats without leaving your condo. What a great way to wake up and look out . Great for people watching, watching the 4th of July fireworks etc. Phase II units have whirlpool tub and are a bit larger. Phase I units have 2 BR 2 Baths also. Units are TOTALLY renovated with laminate flooring and ceramic tile flooring. Kitchen is fully furnished and washer dryer is in your unit. They also have mid week linen exchange. We have traveled quite a bit ande the location of Tybrisa is the best direct ocean front location that we have ever had. Wen will definitely be back. They have FREE internet access, but can't connect due to weak signal.
