My girlfriend and I stayed at the Georgianne Inn while on vacation and were so happy to stumble onto this place. The location is absolutely awesome as it is just about 2 houses from the beach and it is walking distance to a grocery store and restaurants (Sting Rays, Sunrise, etc.). The Tybee Island Social Club is right across the street and the perfect place to unwind at night over drinks while listening to live blues. The Georgianne Inn has laundry facilities and provides beach chairs, and bicycles at no additional cost. One other thing that I need to mention is the staff and Nick was extremely helpful and accomodating. Thanks for making our stay on Tybee Island so special and we will be back!

Tybee is a beautiful beach and the Georgianne is the best place to stay.
Just a half block from the beach, comfortable, clean room with refrigerator and coffee maker. Nicely decorated with beachy pastels. A short walk to the pier, town center, and a few restaurants. Bikes and chairs provided free of charge. Places to sit both inside and under cover on the fist floor. Liked the private patio. Nick was friendly and helpful. The closest thing to a private cottage on Tybee. The only thing that could that could improve the Georgianne is if breakfast was included; but that is a lot to ask of a one man show.

Our family loved The Georgianne Inn! It is so quaint, quiet, very homey, and comfortable. Nick was so wonderful and attentive, running out and getting us things we asked for and giving us his own flour to use so I could make bisuits and gravy for my family. Though I know for next time to get what I need during the day because he's usually out in the evening. He provides beach chairs, beach toys, bicycles and helmets, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, insect repelling candles, movies/DVDs (make sure you get those during the day even if you want to watch in the evening) . Also an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a visit to the beach. Nick made us feel so welcome! The grounds are beautiful and have plenty of areas to sit outside and relax. I can't wait to go back to the Georgianne Inn, although next time I think we need a bigger room. 4 kids was a little tight in the one bedroom. Doable, but tight.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The location could not be much better,,, a very short relaxing stroll to the best beach area, which is just far enough away from the pier to avoid larger crowds. While within easy walking distance to some of the best restaurants on Tybee, there is no street noise or crowd to contend with.

The Georgianne is impeccably clean. Our room (#8) was dust and bug free, with plenty of room for a couple. We were not as comfortable as we would have liked in the smallish queen sized bed, though. The bed was kind of squeaky and the pillows were a bit "hard" for our tastes. There was no view of note from our downstairs room, but the windows let in a lot of light at night, as the drapes were a thin white type along with thin blinds. The downstairs ceilings are about 7 feet high, but the room was cheery and big, so we did not feel closed in. The kitchen was great and the bathroom fairly small, but adequate for our needs.

We both appreciated the free use of beach chairs. But if it is hot bring an umbrella to keep from baking on the beach in August! All in all we loved the stay here and would recommend this inn to anyone that enjoys a "beachy" older inn.
