I came back to Altanta after 30+ years to bury my father.
This hotel did the job with the minimum of disappointments. There was no ugly surprises to upset us further. Breakfast had waffle maker as the special entry, and there was always a sweet treat around tea time. AC worked, bed in back suite room wasn't too hard, bathroom was clean and properly stocked with soaps wash clothes etc. There are ample restaurants within a half mile. Honest value compared to some of the reviews within a couple miles. I discussed how the bell staff could help with directions, don't know if it had any affect. We shall probably return when Mom passes on. Country Inn was quite serviceable.

I've stayed here for a good week just to get away. Everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) was perfect. The manager allowed me to arrange a cash advance deposit in order to pay for the week stay. Housekeeping was VERY courteous. Why stop there? The ENTIRE STAFF was EXCELLENT (not what I can say about many other hotels). The area is quiet and very convenient...walking distance to Northlake Mall and on the MARTA bus line with easy access to downtown Atlanta. If you don't want to use the exercise facilities, you have a free pass to use L.A. Fitness just minutes from the hotel. Whether here for business or pleasure, this hotel is a five-star pick!

We were stranded in Atlanta during an icestorm and, lucky for us, it was at the Country Inn & Suites by Carlson. We had a suite which was great because we really enjoyed the extra room and the staff was super and friendly, and by that I mean EVERYONE from the desk to the housekeeping staff.

The suite was very neat and very clean, with great furnishings. A dataport in the room allowed us to keep in contact with the world! The exercise room was small, but had enough to let us have a workout. The continental breakfast was pretty standard but they did have a waffle iron and lots of fresh fruit, which was nice.

For the price, you absolutely cannot go wrong.
