We stayed one night going to Florida and one night coming back. The front desk staff were very friendly and even recognized me on the second stop. We had a king suite - bed was great with 5 pillows, clean, nice bathroom with granite like countertop (don't know if it was real or not), free wi-fi, OK breakfast. I am always amazed that places who offer free internet are not the high end places. They always charge an arm and a leg. This place of course had free wi-fi that was easy to use. We stay at LaQuinta because we used to have a dog (they take dogs for free) and have found them to be good places to stay while on the road. There are plenty of restaurants in this area, right off I-75. We also got a free newspaper. The breakfast is ok - yogurt, coffee, juice, milk, cereal, make your own waffle, fresh fruit (bananas and apples), bread, english muffin and pastries. It is what we expect from La Quinta (the one in Valdosta is the exception - hot breakfast, a good one, or at least it used to be). Check in and out is easy. It is a good place to stay.

We have chosen LaQuinta's due to they accept pets. Almost every one we have stayed is in a great location. Always mostly clean. Great Sleep! Some have better quality's than others. Over-all, they are one of the best hotel-chains. Will continue to stay with them. Jackie/Bob Eldred & Maggie

Having 2 large dogs on a road trip presents hotel problems but La Quinta has become our new best friend. All together we stayed at 3 different La Quinta's while traveling. Each had updated amenities, nice sized rooms and very pleasant staff but this one smelled of smoke the minute we entered the elevator. By the time we walked thru the hallway and into our room it reeked throughout. Needless to say the the next day all of our clothes, my hair and the dogs smelled of smoke.

Interesting side note, the following night we stayed in Mascoutah, IL and this LaQuinta had NO SMOKING anywhere in the hotel not even a designated bank of rooms.
What a difference it made.

Once again great hotel if you don't mind the smoke..but if you do your eyes will be itching and you and your stuff will leave stinking.

suite which was nice., pool okay. breakfast LQ standard.. staff very pleasant. business center available but could have used the little things... notepads, pens, etc. side door needs fixing - did not lock properly (security issue). fitness center equipment needs to be maintained.. difficult to use, needs repair. rooms clean. location good. pet friendly with no issues at checkin.. definitely a plus.
