Having never stayed at an extended stay hotel before let alone been to u.s.a, i have to say i was pleasantly surprised by the room we were given.The room was adequate for what we needed.It was clean and well kept. Fresh clean bedding and towels were available and although maid service was only once a week, we did not find it to be a problem. The main reception staff were very helpful and friendly as were the cleaning staff. I had a relaxing,enjoyable stay and would not hestitate to stay there again.

First and foremost I must preface this review by saying that I was on my way to the race in Hampton and this place was the only one left with any vacancies for a decent price. I quickly found out why. After arriving sometime after 3:30pm, we were told to return in a few hours as the room we reserved months earlier was not ready yet. When we came back around 5pm, a manager went and had to make sure the room was ready. When we got to the room, it was smoky, small, and dingy. The room stayed either too hot or too cold the entire weekend. There was hair in the sheets, and even a change of sheets didn't help. The bathroom was gross, and the toilet ran the entire time we were there. We lucked into the room next to the laundry, so every 15-20 minutes we enjoyed a hum followed by a siren and then loud rumbling for an hour or so. While I must admit that it was better than camping on the ground, I definitely learned that you get a little less than what you pay for. I wouldn't stay here ever again and I would not suggest to anyone that they should. Anything else is easily worth the extra money you'd spend.
