I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn with 3 other people for a wedding in Statesboro, GA. The hotel was great. I was greeted by name upon arrival (hotel was not very busy), snacks/cokes/cookies were available for myself and the other guests throughout the day. I expected a mediocre room, but was pleasantly surprised by the room. It was cool, quiet, comfortable, and the sinks outside the bathroom even had granite counter tops. The pool was nice and the hotel was very quiet. It is set back off of the main road, so no highway noise. The location is very central to Main St. which is where most activities take place in Statesboro, and it is very close to the campus of GSU. The breakfast was amazing. They had french toast sticks, cereal, yogurt, biscuits, sausage, and various other breads/danishes in addition to the milk, coffee, and juices available. It's ironic that a "high-end" hotel not only costs more for the room, but does not offer these extra perks. Overall, I'd highly recommend staying at the Hampton Inn and I will be doing the same the next time I'm in statesboro.
