“Perfect for visiting kids/students at GA Southern.”

After reading mixed reviews, we decided to trust our previous experiences within the Day's Inn name and stay here on a visit to see our son. Great location near Georgia Southern! Updated furnishings in a room which included a coffee maker, small refrigerator, and microwave. Clean, comfortable beds, helpful friendly staff, relaxing pool, and continental breakfast a great plus. Don't understand the mixed reviews, we throughly enjoyed it. For the price, it simply can not be beat.

“Convenient place to stay in Statesboro”

Although this is one of the older Hamptons without all the glitz of the newerones, it provides good, basic accommodations. It is clean and well maintained. And it is tucked away off the street, not suffering from the Interstate noise levels found at many of the newer ones. I also found management very responsive to any problems.

“perfect stay”

My wife commented that the bathroom floor was cleaner than our kitchen floor. The room was absolutely clean, everything well-maintained, and the staff very attentive and responsive. I highly recommend this motel for excellent value at a reasonable cost.

“Very friendly staff, great accomodations”

Stayed at the Hampton Inn Statesboro as we were assisting my son's move to Georgia Southern. The hotel is more of a motel, as it has exterior corridors...but this was not really an issue. The rooms are standard sized but very comfortable - the beds are typical Hampton pillow top, with duvet, plush towels, nice bathroom, etc. The breakfast buffet is fine, typical mix of hot and cold foods. The staff are all incredibly nice and very friendly - everyone of them greeted us when they saw us, with big smiles, and truly made you feel welcome (love that Southern hospitality). Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

“Excellent hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2009

I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn with 3 other people for a wedding in Statesboro, GA. The hotel was great. I was greeted by name upon arrival (hotel was not very busy), snacks/cokes/cookies were available for myself and the other guests throughout the day. I expected a mediocre room, but was pleasantly surprised by the room. It was cool, quiet, comfortable, and the sinks outside the bathroom even had granite counter tops. The pool was nice and the hotel was very quiet. It is set back off of the main road, so no highway noise. The location is very central to Main St. which is where most activities take place in Statesboro, and it is very close to the campus of GSU. The breakfast was amazing. They had french toast sticks, cereal, yogurt, biscuits, sausage, and various other breads/danishes in addition to the milk, coffee, and juices available. It's ironic that a "high-end" hotel not only costs more for the room, but does not offer these extra perks. Overall, I'd highly recommend staying at the Hampton Inn and I will be doing the same the next time I'm in statesboro.
