I thought the online rate was $50 but got charged $60. I think this was a little much for an out of the way place like Sandersville. The Hotel was nice, clean and quiet. The staff especially the desk clerk was very helpful. I'm sorry I can't remember her name. Nice Mexican Restaurant next door. My room was clean and fully equiped except no phone directory. Breakfast was good.
Our business has employees that stay here 4 - 5 nights every week. The hotel staff goes out of their way to accomodate us. Since our work is affected so much by the weather, they are quite understanding when we have to call to change our reservations etc. The staff is very knowledgeable about their job and make the guests feel quite at home.
I stay at this particular Days Inn quite often because of work. Ashley, the front desk manager, is the best ! She goes out of her way to make sure that my room is always to my satisfaction and puts up with me always locking myself out of my room! There is a Mexican restaurant directly across the street that is excellent and a popular place for the locals. Having to work out of town is usually not anyones preference but Ashley and the rest of the Days Inn staff always make me feel at home with their small town hospitality. If you ever find yourself in Sandersville, Ga and need a place to stay for the night or the week the only place to stay in Sandersville as far as I'm concerned is the Days Inn.
