Very unimpressed. I've had good experiences at other la quintas, but I dont think this one has been updated since the 80s. I noticed the lobby smelled bad, and sadly my room does too. The elevator is in bad shape, the room carpet is stained, the room keys look like 1960s punchcards. Internet is mediocre... I guess the tv was nice enough.

Room 213, which is a non-smoking room, smelled like cigarette smoke covered with air- freshener, the toilet bowel was dirty, the bath/shower water had only two temperatures hot and hotter; it was next to impossible to use - unless you use ice-cubes! It takes a lot for us to complain and this was a lot. They moved us to room 218 which was a nice room, except the sheets were dirty!! We asked the housekeeper to give us new ones. I suggest for the management to require housekeepers to go through a checklist on what is expected in a room before someone checks in. Clean sheets & a clean toilet are essentials! The price and the breakfast were good, although the place is a little far from the main attractions. The price is fitting, but better management will help this hotel to get a better rating.

I have spent the night here a few times on my way to backpacking trips on the Appalachian Trail. It's a convenient place to get in and out, and it's cheap. They have the typical free breakfast in the morning, and the rooms are older but clean.

We picked La Quinta b/c it was close to where our training was and was pet friendly! It so close to Atlanta, there are so many great restaurants around, and you can't beat the price! It is very clean, a large room, plus breakfast is included!
