This is a new motel on the bypass about 6 miles from downtown Rome. The rooms are of good standard and the larger rooms with king size are good value at around $70. Cars are outside rooms, there are only 35 rooms. However no laundry for guests and 3 miles to nearest quality restaurant..Pool is very small and unattractive. Wireless internet access good and continetal breakfast good standard. Fine for overnight stay.

We went to Rome for a wedding and this was where they booked several rooms for their guests. It was clean, nicely furnished, with nice soft pillows. Although I would say that generally I'm a hotel snob (don't dig the motel thing) this was alright for the stay. No flies, no dirt, we got a no-smoking room and it didn't smell at all. I'd certainly stay here again. We went to another restaurant for breakfast, so we didn't sample the continental here.

Arriving after a long drive from ATL, I was giving an upstairs room even though I had luggage. You had to drag you luggage up stairs. The room gave you the feeling of this must be a one night stand. The stuffy smell of the room caused you to definitely switch on the loud AC immediately.

Going to the bathroom, I was met by a fly buzzing around. Tried to swat it but to no avail. The sight of the fly really disturbed me but I knew I had to stay for only a couple of nights so I would endure it.

Breakfast the next morning had a lot to be desired since it was just a slim selection of cereal.

I would not recommend this hotel to any seasoned traveler.
