Ok, for $50 a night, you can't expect much. This is your typical budget hotel. Breakfast was minimal. It could use a good cleaning, but I felt safe and it wasn't noisy even though you're near the road.
If you just need a place to sleep it's fine.
I thought the staff was just fine.
This motel was dirty, carpets very worn, the cabinets were in need of repair, cabinet for fridge broken and no fridge in room, mold in the bathroom...the room smelled when we walked in, Tried to check out after breakfast so we coould leave right from room. Desk person was obviously on a personal phone call and did not even acknowledge our presence at the desk. ..very unfriendly when we went back to check out,...not a nice place to stay. Extension cords run across the room at the head of the bed to plug in a light. We were there with another couple and had adjoining rooms but a lamp and table and chairs blocked the door so it could nto be opened in between rooms without moving them
The receptionist was very nice and greeted us in a friendly welcoming manner. However, The first room we were given smelled like a bar, Room 134. We asked to be moved to a non smoking room which we had reserved. Room 135 smelled better, but the main light in the ceiling had no cover on it, there was a hole in the ceiling and many patches along the ceiling and walls. Door to bathroom didn't quite fit and looked as if had been many repairs. Made us very uncomfortable sleeping there.
The breakfast: The waffle was good. The cream cheese was old, the orange juice tasted like the plastic tubing it came from and the muffins were stale. Will never stay there again.
Terrible stay, something stung me the two nights in bed. Asked for wake up calls didn't come which didn't matter as I couldn't sleep anyway. Light switches/ sockets either didn't work or came out of the wall paint off the wall. Air conditioner made the room feel wet. Non smoking rooms were located next to the interstate and all night MacDonlads which were extemely noisey. All of this would have been avoided but because I booked online (3) rooms there were no refunds for any reason. The manager contacted me and said they would use my suggestions to help improve their Inn, I asked for an adjustment to my bill haven't heard anything.
