“Disgusting!!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 December 2010

Hair in bathtub, old popcorn and dirt on floors, woman's used rajor in bed, used wet washcloth in bathroom. Asked why we couldn't have it cleaned and was told the housekeeper quit a few days ago. Breakfast disgusting, asked about it and was told they keep reusing all the leftovers, eggs, sausage bread because its expensive. Remodeling entire hotel, woke up to construction workers and jackhammers outside room at 8am. Worst experience I have eve had, and would not give us any money back!

“Lice, Spiders, and Musty smell”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 July 2010

We stopped on the way home from Orlando at the Richmond Hills Econolodge and had a very bad experience. The room smelled musty, there were large spiders in the bathroon, and upon returning home later the next evening, I found lice in my hair. Any money I saved, I am spending on Rid - I've never had lice before. Room 115.

“GREAT PLACE FOR THE MONEY”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 July 2010

This is a great place to stop and rest. I wouldn't stay there for vacation-but to stop on my way to someplace--including as a stop for my vacation or business trip. The hotel is small but right off the inter-state--(95). You are surrounded by every fast food place you could want--plus a Denney's. There are also a few Gas stations. The motel is built sideways to the highway--so you have privacy and quite.. There is no pool--no frills--but a nice (not great) nice--cooked hot breakfast. It is offered in a spotlessly clean dinning area.. The staff is helpfull, sincere, and dedicated.

“If you're looking for a 5-star resort...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 June 2010

If you're looking for a 5-star resort, this is not it. If you're looking for an inexpensive, clean, and friendly place to stay while you're traveling on the I-95 corridor... Then this is your place!!! It's very convenient to 95, as well as many restaurants. The rooms are basic, but clean. I would recommend that of you know in advance that you are coming, ask them to prepare the room by turning on the heat or AC a couple of hours before you arrive. Our room was very hot and took several hours to cool off. Regardless, the room had a mini fridge and a microwave, which was convenient. The breakfast was incredible for a continental breakfast that was included in the price of our $45/night room. Eggs, sausage, fresh waffles, a variety of breads, cereal, milk, juice and coffee. I will definitely stay here again during our next trip to Florida.

“Good Value and BasicT”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 September 2009

person found this review helpful

The Econo Lodge Richmond Hill served its purpose as an inexpensive stopover point on the way to Florida. The room was clean and located in a busy area right off I-95. Lots of hotels and fast food nearby. The staff is friendly, I had a nice conversation with the owner's brother, a native of Gujarat India. Quirks of note: there is a basketball goal in the back of the parking lot if you want to get some exercise.
