“Beware!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2011

My family and I stayed here in January 2011 and it was an awful experience. Rooms were very small and outdated. The beds were hard as a rock and the walls were very thin. You can here everything that goes on outside your doorway. Our car was hit in the parking lot and when we asked the front desk about the security cameras installed on the light poles we were informed they were inoperable. Oh and the Denny's restaurant in front of the rooms blew up, so there is a fenced area of burnt rumble to look at. I would NOT recommend this hotel!

“Not bad for an overnighter!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2011 via mobile

The days inn was okay for an overnight stay. True there are truckers there but they were harmless. The room was very good and clean, no smells at all. Dennys was good to have close by. The only incident that happened was a major thunderstorm came through at night and woke me up. What a lighting show that was.

“Not worth the price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 October 2010

We arrived at the hotel to be greeted by a group of truckers in the lobby swearing up a storm. We had a 7 year old with us that certainly did not need to hear that and the lady behind the desk was just chatting with them without telling them to cool it. Hotel seemed clean enough but as we headed to the room the smell of stale old smoke was overpowering. We asked for non-smoking room but when we got in the room that old smoke smell assaulted us. It was awful. We had driven 12 hours and just needed a place to sleep for our next trip at 8am. But that was hard to do also. The room was by the vending /ice machines and the truckers walked the hall til midnight visiting the machines and slamming their doors. Our alarm was set for 7 so we could grab breakfast and leave but people were up at 4am slamming their doors and walking the halls making noise. The lack of courtesy was unbelievable. So after 4 hours sleep we left for another 12 hour journey to get home. Out of the 5 hotels we stayed at for our trip to our vacation spot and then back home again, this was the most expensive and the worst one we stayed at. Never again!

“Worth the coupon rate, but not more than that”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 June 2010

As with so many of this type of hotel, the grandeur of the outside is not always reflected when it comes to the rooms. Mine was reasonably clean, but it had that musty smell about it from the days when everyone used to smoke. It could certainly have done with repainting. I dont know if it's always the case, but on the day I arrived there were 2 room, the outside of which appeared to be gathering places to sit and drink. I never feel comfortable with that ........................... but maybe it's an age thing.

Breakfast was average, and there was the usual range of goodies on offer. Staff were polite, and knowledgeable about the area.

Coupon rate was accepted without question [ I think it was $32 plus tax ] and it was just about value for that. I wouldn't pay any more than that though.

“Very convenient to I-95”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 March 2009

On our trip this is the only hotel that got everything right. They kept my reservations to check-in was simple. I was late arriving, but they had kept my reservations anyway. They had already put our roll-a-ways in the rooms so they were ready to go. We got a good nights sleep and checked out the next morning.
