“would stay here again”

My family and I made a last minute weekend trip to Savannah. Always one for a good deal. I found one in Bradbury suites. You won't find any flat screens, down blankets or abstract art. But I wasn't making a trip to the beach to stay in my hotel room all day. Returning to the room after a long day playing in the waves, the room greeted you like an old friend. The girls at the front desk helped us find things to do during the day and the hottest night clubs.
Here are my Top 5 Reasons Why I Would Stay Here Again
1. all suite Spacious Room
2. Good selection for "free" breakfast
3. 15 minutes from downtown Savannah
4. 25 minutes from the beach
5. very clean room

“Loved it!”

We have stayed at the Best Western Bradbury Suites three times and each time it gets better. We made reservations a week before leaving and upon arrival the receptionist had all the information in front of her immediately. Check in was quick and efficient. She was very friendly and a delight to talk to. The motel is in the midst of being renovated. The entire third floor is closed with about four rooms on each floor being done at the same time. Even with the construction going on, there was no noise, dust or debris in the hallways or in the parking lot. Our suite included two double beds, 2 tv's, a living room with desk, pull out sofa bed and tv. As usual the room was spotless and there were no odors from previous guests. Beds were very comfortable. The room was in good condition.

The breakfast would make a restaurant proud. There were scrambled eggs, sausage, breads of all types, English muffins, pastries, muffins, cereal, juices and coffee. The dining area was neat and clean. The attendant was a pleasant lady who went out of her way to make you comfortable.

We plan on going back in March for St. Patrick's Day.

The Bradbury Suites is our refuge when traveling back home.

A Great Place to stay.

“Rude manager, foul decor, dirty hotel”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 July 2011

Yuck. We had to stay here on business several times with my spouse and this place is foul. The entire place has an old, nasty smell - the rooms, the lobby, the breakfast area, all of it. The bathroom in our room had small bugs everywhere. The carpet was dirty and turned our toddler's socks brown on the bottom. I wore flip flops every time I was in the room, especially in the shower. The breakfast was really good and that's the only positive comment I have. This hotel had a huge contract with my spouse's line of work (law enforcement) but did NOTHING to keep those customers happy. The last time my s/o checked in, the television, air conditioner, and several other things were all broken or malfunctioning. The next room smelled so awful my s/o couldn't stay in there either. The third room was barely passable for the two nights stay required. When the "big boss" called to explain that his employees would need better accommodations, the manager said that maybe he didn't want the law enforcement cars in his parking lot. The manager insinuated that POLICE cars were bad for business. We have switched our business to the Port Wentworth Hampton Inn and COULD NOT BE HAPPIER.

I really really really recommend that you DO NOT stay in this hotel. It's smelly, dirty, and the people who work there are unprofessional and rude.

“what happened to this place???”

My family and I have been staying at this hotel a couple of times a year, for many years as we travel up and down to Florida. I was shocked the last time we stayed there. First of all when we tried to check in, they said they had no room for us. We called the main office of Best Western. They called the hotel, who proceeded to tell the home office that we didn’t have any reservation. The home office answered by telling them that they can see that we had had a reservation since January of this year. Next the hotel tried to tell them that we cancelled the reservation, which the home office could tell that there was no cancellation. We were never offered any help getting another room or even offered an apology. After being on the phone for awhile with the home office, were finally given a room, but it was dirty and only had 2 beds (it is a Suites hotel with 2 beds and a pull out). Also, they ran out of breakfast, but luckily we ate really early. It is a shame because it used to be a nice hotel that was very convenient, but I doubt we will ever stay here again. What Happened???

“RUDE MANAGER”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 March 2011

I have to say I thought I would try this hotel seeing it was a Best Western and never again will I stay or use best western. I checked in with a front desk person and the manager was yelling from an office about another employee. I tried to hurry up and get out of his way very quickly. I got to the room and I noticed our tv was not working and I called down to inform the desk clerk and Migule answered and said "front desk, can I help you...well, yes, sir I said the the tv seems to not be working and he said I was not doing it right cause all the tv's work, well I said its not coming on and I checked all the plugs and they seemed to be pulged in and he said Sir I have to run I will call you back. We waited and waited and no call, so we called again and the front desk agent said he had left and so I asked her about the probelm and still nothing could be done. So my wife and I sat in a room with no tv cause the manager did not want to help. The next morning I waited for Migule to get in and he was very short with me and did not want to help me with the tv, I was going to stay another night but after his attitude I decided to check out and head on up the interstate. I have to say this was the worest hotel I have ever stayed at in 25 years. I will not stay here again until management changes. Very Rude MANAGER, hes was to big for his pants to treat a 63 year old man the way he did.
