We stayed at the Jameson Inn on our way to Virginia. The motel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was quite and there was several eating places within walking distance. The breakfast was yummy! We will be traveling through there soon and we plan on staying there again.

this is a nice hotel only 15 minutes from downtown. We spent a much needed quiet weekend. the staff was friendly and the amenties good.

I will start with the only positives I can state-the soda vending machines have very cold soda and the elevator never broke down. This was the most unfriendly hotel I have EVER stayed at. Seven days and six nights and not once were we greeted with a simple hello. If the elevator doors opened and the cleaning staff was waiting they couldn't even be bothered with a hello after being spoken to. At check out not even a hello. The young woman told me how cold she was and complained about not getting enough sleep. Not even a thanks for staying with us. The rooms are marginally clean at best. They DO NOT clean them. Our room was never vacuumed the entire stay. The same hairs on the floor behind the toilet that were there when we arrived were still there when we left. The under rim of the toilet was DISGUTING!! Apparently nobody bothers with a toilet bowl brush. There was a disgusting ring of dirt around the tub. All the corners were dirty, the bathroom fan sounded like a jet ready to take off. Two days our room was never cleaned. The breakfast was nothing special and with the filth of most of the place, we opted to skip it. They had hot coffee but not the appropriate lids. Well, maybe they did, if you drink you coffee through a straw. On the second floor there was a small black screw lying on the floor by the ice machine when we arrived and it was still there when we left. It was obvious on the off white tiled floor. In the room there was a recliner that the foot rest would go up on but the rest of the chair stays upright. The desk chair was so low your knees are above your hips and there was no moving it any higher.

As much as I love the comforts of home, spending time in Savannah, is a great choice for me !!! Whenever I stay in Savannah, my second home is The Jameson Inn, its a Clean and Comfortable Hotlel !!! Coming to savannah often I sometimes miss home, but the rooms are very nice and the beds are Extra Comfortable, the micro/fridge is very conveinant!!! The staff is friendly, and The Fitness center is wonderful, also the pool area has a relaxing area thats just peaceful !!! I'd recommend The Jameson Inn in Pooler Ga. to anyone wanting a comfortable and peaceful place to rest if ever in Savannah !!!!
