I knew we shouldn't have stayed here. We were looking for some where affordable. This motel is at a great price..... butwhen I took a shower i felt something dripping on me. I looked up and there were brown drops dripping on my face...I was apauled. The carpet was extremly dirty. The bed stunk... I would never stay again.... Maybe if you have to and cant afford anything else... but be aware of the fowl smells when you check in. swiming pool was sick! I was wainting for the roaches to invade.

My husband and I have stayed at the Red Carpet Inn in Perry for the past 5 years while visiting the State Fair in Perry during the the first weekend of October each year. Our stay has always been very pleasant. The Inn, we are sure has some age on it, but is always clean and comfortable. Coffee is provided in the check in area each morning and the attendant and I'm sure the general manager and/or owner is always very friendly, polite and accommodating. This facilty is across a very large field used for fair parking and in walking distance of the fair entrance. We enjoy arriving early, shopping in Perry and then returning to our room, and walking across the grassy parking lot to enter into the fair. By doing this we do not have to fight the traffice and look for a parking space. Rooms are comfortable and clean, comfortable beds and although we have never seen security at the Inn we have never experienced any problems that made us uncomfortable. We would highly recommend the Red Carpet Inn ... and it is AFFORDABLE! We look forward to our visit this October.
