Stayed here for a training seminar in October. First of all the grounds are beautiful, the location in PeachTree City is very nice. They do a good job keeping up the grounds. The hotel facilities are laid out well and it's easy to get around.
I checked in on a Sunday evening and was given my room assignment. I was tired from traveling all day and wanted to sleep right away. The rooms have a nice fresh décor and everything looks nice. The bed was somewhat uncomfortable, like the box springs below me on one side were broken, because the mattress sagged a bit. I slept on the other side and it was fine. The wireless internet was very poor though, not a good strong signal, but they did have wired internet that worked pretty well.
When I went to shower the next morning, I was really disturbed by the smell in the bathroom. It smelled like mold/mildew. While showering, I looked up and noticed that there was mold on the ceiling and it looked as though the room above had leaked in the bathroom as the sheetrock was kind of yuck... I dried off and asked the front desk if i could move. They said they were full; they couldn't move me, but they would see about cleaning the ceiling.
I came back and they had scraped the mold off the ceiling, but the bathroom still smelled like mold. I only had one more night, so I just suffered through.
On a brighter note, the food in the restaurant was nice, the breakfast staff was very attentive and helpful. They have a good variety of equipment in their workout room; however, it was a little strange the way it was laid out at the end of one of the buildings, open to the rest of the hotel. They also didn't stock the towels or water in the water cooler. If you were in the cardio room, you had to go upstairs to the weight room to get water, and vice versa with the towels.
I would have rated this hotel higher had it not been for the bad mold/smell problem in my bathroom.
Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the lake.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback among both positive and negative aspects of your recent stay at Dolce Atlanta-Peachtree. Sharing your experience while you were here as well helped us to determine that the exhaust fan serving your bathroom was in need of replacement. With the mildew cleaned and the fan issue addressed, we can now be assured that others will not share your experience.
