The Worst Inn Ever
This place was horrible. Yes, you get what you pay for sometimes, but I’ve stayed at less expensive hotels that were far better than this one. Let’s for a moment, just forget about the quality of the room, the dresser that had a drawer falling off and held on with tape (yes, tape), the toilet stool that the cleaning people broke and was too lazy to pick up the screw and put it back in until we stood there and watched them do it, the horrible breakfast, the request to clean the carpet at seven o’clock at night after we were already undressed and turning in from the long drive to Georgia, and the nasty smell, let’s just forget about that for right now and talk about attitude.
The cleaning people were rude. The front desk staff was rude as well. The only nice one was the guy who checked us in. The female who checked us out refused to give us a copy of the paperwork we signed when we checked in. They took an impression of my mother’s credit card and had her fill out a paper about incidentals. There were no charges on the paper, and shouldn’t have been any as we didn’t have any incidentals. Yet, the lady checking us out refused to give us a copy. She said she had to send the copy to Expedia, who we booked through, but Expedia didn’t know anything about it.
We never got the copy and now have to make sure there are no credit card charges that were unauthorized put on that paper. The lady wouldn’t even let us look at the paper which means we’ll probably need to contact our lawyers next to deal with any illegal stuff going on with this Days Inn.
The only thing I can say is stay at this place at your own risk. I will never, even if it’s the last place on the face of this earth, stay at that Days Inn, or any other, again. I’d rather sleep in cow manure than go through that again. If I could rate this hotel with an F-, I would.
