The gal at the front desk was not the friendliest. We had checked the prices out earlier online, and when we asked at the front desk if they would give us the same price as online, she would not. So, we drove to the McDonald's, and used our laptop to make it online, and then returned. A hassle, but it was much cheaper than what she was offering for an AARP rate upon check-in. The first room we had, was not cleaned at all, so we had to return back to the front desk. We went from a 1st floor room, to a 2nd room floor, above the front office. The noise from the road, and people checking in late that night was horrible. Did not get any rest. Room was not the cleanest. Floorboards really needed a good cleaning around them. Sheets were thin, but clean. Bathroom was clean, which I feel is very important. We chose to eat our breakfast at McDonald's the next morning, as the hotel breakfast was pretty basic. You really don't have a lot of other options for hotels at Montezuma.

Dear Traveler,
Thank you for taking the time to let us know that your stay was not up to your expectations. We bought this hotel in March and changed it from Days Inn to Americas Best Value Inn.
We have made extensive renovations and are continuing to do so. We hope you will give us the opportunity to continue making the necessary improvements and that you will stay with us again in the future.
