“OK for a $50 night”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 October 2010

Staying here after 4 nights in a Microtel was even more cramped. I hate a hotel that charges for a 3rd adult in a room and then says that is for the free continental breakfast. And then it is agrivating when this breakfast is a couple slices of bread and a muffin or two, 2 crappy types of cereal and a couple old looking apples. I would rather reject the breakfast ability. And then when you ask for a rollaway, you are charged an additional $10. Not accomidating at all. I guess it was an OK stay, as the beds were comfy.

“average all around”

We were traveling home from florida to cleveland and decided to stop outside atlanta a little early so we could enjoy an indoor pool. Upon check in we were greeted with a very friendly gentleman who was eager to please. However nobody told us the pool was closed. Looked like the pump was broken or something and they had a pool closed sign on the door. So the only reason we chose to stay there was thwarted.

The hotel in general and the rooms were clean and in relatively good condition. The carpet in our room needed stretched so there were ripples everywhere. The toilet dripped onto the floor(clean tank water not waste water) and upon inspection i found it looked like whoever installed it had dropped it and broken chunks off and put some caulk in the holes they made. Because of the drip we got to hear the toilet run every 20 minutes. The lady at the front desk in the morning seemed receptive and claimed she would have the maintenance guy fix it, but whether it meant a new toilet or not i do not know.

I decided to walk next door to the Krystal for dinner and when i went out the side door of the hotel there was a 2x4 laying on the sidewalk waiting to trip me.

Breakfast was cereal/bagel/muffin. no waffle maker. and their coffee was awful. the cream cheese said "keep refrigerated" and it was out and warm.

“Not a bad place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 August 2008

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in August 2008 during Flashback for Kiss 104.1. I was given this hotel by a family member who had stayed here before. I did not know what to expect at $59.00 per night, so I was reluctant to book or even visit the hotel.

I am a Starwood Hotels Chick, but I didn't really have a choice this particular weekend. I drove all the way from Orlando Florida and finally decided to book once I reached Georgia. I arrived at the hotel and it was actually ok. I checked in with no problem and then entered the room. The carpets were not stained which is a plus, but the room chairs were. I simply covered them and made myself comfortable on the bed. The bedding was clean and the bed actually slept well. As for the bathroom my toilet would turn on and off but nothing that disturbed me. The staff was friendly and housekeeping always had a smile. Overall, my experience was good. If you are looking for a clean hotel and you are on a budget, stay at this hotel. Did I mention it was only $59.00 per night.

“Avoid this hotel!”

Do not make a reservation at this hotel. They will NOT let you cancel under any circumstances. I made reservations to stay at this hotel, but because of Hurricane Ivan my family was unable to travel. I called the hotel directly to cancel. They refused. I was charged for 2 rooms I did not use. Choice Hotels should be ashamed to have this hotel representing their company.

Stay at this hotel if you would like to hear ice drop out of an ice machine ALL NIGHT LONG. There will be no answer when you try to contact the front desk. When you eventually do get someone, they will do nothing about it. Have fun driving the rest of your trip with no sleep!!
