Arrived early evening on a cold night. Staff was welcoming, but the first floor has a breeze way with rooms on each side and was noisy with people running back and forth. There was also dogs barking until about 9:30. Breakfast was not up to the usual offering at La Quinta.

Pet Friendly motel and the clean room was amazing! The people were so friendly and fun. Best complimentary breakfast and so reasonably priced.

We stay here 4 to 6 times a year. It is half way to Florida for us and we are snowbirds. It is clean and has very comfortable beds. It is pet friendly (no extra charges). when we arrived last week they were getting all new TVs. They are 32" LCD's and they have a great picture. The staff are friendly and the free breakfast is good (no eggs though). It is very convenant to food ,gas, and I75. For the price, it is a great deal. We will continue to use this hotel.

We had a reservation for 3 nights. We arrived around 1 am due to traveling w/ kids. Check in was smooth. We did ask for side by side rooms and a crib, which they did accomadate that. However, upon unloading the car now at 130 am and getting 3 sleepy kids in bed, I noticed that our room had not been cleaned, besides the beds being made. I noticed trash from previous guests in the cans, garbage in drawers and on the floor. If they didnt clean that, how do I know they just made the bed and didnt put new sheets on. I called front desk. The receptionist was very courteous and apologetic and offered to move us, but it was almost 2 am and the kids were asleep and we just wanted to sleep. The manager, Reginald was very nice and ended up giving us that night free, and that was not expected, so he took good care of us.

However, the breakfast bar is horrible and not stocked AT ALL. I had to ask the lady who worked the desk if we could get more cream cheese and cups, which thats all I needed....not to mention no yogurt, eggs, bread, waffles, milk....shall I go on? Needless to say, the receptionist stepped away to assist another guest, and there were FOUR housekeepers standing behind the desk and the response I received was a smart a$$ answer from one saying we dont work up here and she's busy...a real piece of trash. Now I understand why our room wasnt clean. A nice "she stepped away and be right with you"would have been nice, but I pretty much got from her was "its not my job, I hate my job" attitude.

Also, the sink is slow draining and 2 lights didnt work, we had to go to the front desk THREE times bc our room keys didnt work, no alarm clock, and we asked for a wake up call and never received one.

To sum it up, I like Laquinta, I stay at this chain whenever I travel. However, besides the mgr being very nice, I personally will never stay or recommend this one again. $44 a night...you get what you pay for.
