We basically took over the hotel for one night in late August when our entire high school band (over 300 strong) and a whole slew of directors and chaperones, were in Atlanta for the Bands of America contest. First of all, the front desk staff were wonderfully accomodating and understanding when hundreds of high school kids decended on them late at night. It was extremely well organized (or seemed to be) and the check in went smoothly. The rooms were quite nice for an older hotel and the beds, linens and pillows were very comfortable. The rooms seemed very clean and fairly updated. We did not allow the kids anywhere near the pool, so i can't comment on the facilities.

However, this staff went above and beyond the call of duty and helped us out of a real jam. The kids had an outdoor practice at a local Marietta high school and found themselves in the middle of a thunderstorm. By the time all the kids, instruments, props and pit got loaded into buses and trucks...they were soaked. The school sweatshirts (part of their uniform) were so wet you could wring them out. The forecast was for cool weather the next day and the kids would need to wear those sweatshirts. How could we get them dry in a few hours? The hotel brought in staff to run over 300 sweatshirts through their industrial dryers. And, by the time we headed out to the Georgia Dome the next morning...all students had dry, warm clothes. Amazing. And, they got all those kids through their complimentary breakfast in record speed. I can't say enough good things about how they handled our group. THANK YOU!! You made our trip much better.

The price was very reasonable, and I always thought Hampton Inns were "hotel" style (with rooms opening to a central indoor hallway), but this Hampton has some rooms that are "motel" style (with rooms opening to the outside). We got a room in the "hotel" part at least, and the room was very nice and comfortable. We wanted to swim though and the pool is outside and was too cold for us. The pool area had a little wading pool for toddlers, which was warm enough but of course my toddler wanted to swim in the big pool. It was also after dark (8:30ish) and while the pool was open until 10 pm, it was not lit up very well. The complementary breakfast was decent, it had all the typical stuff you get at hotels - make-your-own-waffles, cereal, bagels, juice, etc.

We stayed at this Hampton Inn for three nights for a business event in Marietta. Our room was a good size with exceptionally comfortable beds and pillows. Flat screen tv, fridge and microwave are included in the room as well. The only quibble I'd have is the extremely limited cable plan, I mean three ESPN channels and no Food Channel?
There's a pool in a secluded landscaped setting in the middle of the hotel. Overall and in general this Hampton Inn is very well-run and clean with a polite helpful staff.
The breakfast offered is fine: cheese omelettes, sausage patties, potatoes, fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice, cereals and more. Coffee and hot water for tea are on offer in the Lobby all day. For lunch or dinner an Applebee's is right next door and will deliver to guests of the Hampton upon request and also has take-away options.
Located right off I-75 the hotel couldn't be easier to access for travellers. We had a very pleasant three-night stay here.

We were taking a road trip from FL to KY for the World's Longest Yard Sale and this hotel was our final overnight stop before getting back home. We found this hotel by chance, but like all Hampton Inns, we were not disappointed. It was clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was the best of all our hotels. We are adding this as a planned stop for next year's trip. OH..and don't miss going to the Marietta Diner when you are here, it was AWESOME (even at 11:00pm they had a line out the door). Food portions are huge so try sharing a dish.
