I made my reservations at this hotel because it was centrally located and had a restaurant on site. Well, the restaurant/lounge was closed. I was told it is closed for renovations, but nothing is being done in there. It's just closed, but all the information about the hotel doesn't state that it is closed. Room was OK, but had to call maintenance because the tub and sink did not drain properly. (Nothing like stepping out of dirty water makes you feel clean.) I gave my concerns to the desk in the morning and they didn't do anything. The maid came about four to service the room, which I was already back working in my room, but she did get maintenance to come right up to try to get drains to work and replace some burned out bulbs. There was a broken fortune cookie in the corner of the elevator for at lease three days. They obviously don't inspect these things very carefully. No coffee in the room. Had to go down stairs for that (only available in mornings) and one day "they had not delivered" . I was suppose to stay 11 days. Needless to say I checked into a different hotel after a few days.

The room was clean, but no coffee in room. The girl at the fron tdesk was so inappropriately dressed and appeared to have the same clothes on the next day. There was a sign at the desk that she would be back in 5 minutes when we tried to check out, but we waited for over 10 minutes to have someone help us while the phone rang off the hook at the front desk. The coffee area on the main floor was a mess. The young man at the desk, upon check-in, was saying to the girl that he hoped that no one else checked in for the next hour so he could finish what he wanted to do on the computer as the girl was reading and talking about the email she just received on the computer that she working on. The chiar behind the desk looked like a dog had completely chewed off the cover and the filling was all chewed off and half the fabric was gone. I wish I had taken a picture it was so bad. We were never told about anything except that the diningroom and bar were being renovated and were not open.

This is supposed to be a 3 1/2 star Crowne Plaza! That is a joke. The area is shady to say the least and having family in the area I know for a fact that it is VERY UNSAFE! Despite what the website tells you there is no working restaurant or room service. The rooms are clean but bare minimum amenities. Our room did not even have coffee! We asked for a crib for our 9 month old and it took 3 requests before we were brought one and then it had no sheet. You can hear the traffic on the interstate from inside the hotel. We paid for 2 nights upfront but left and decided to travel home late instead of staying there for another night. I wouldn't give this hotel more than 1 star. If you do stay there do not go out to your car alone after dark and be very aware of your surroundings!

Do not stay here - this hotel should not hold the Crowne Plaza name. It's old and run down - during my stay the power went out for 15 minutes in the evening - they ran out of food for dinner and they wouldn't do room service breakfast. The Pantry is also closed down, Room keys didn't work and staff are unpleasant.
