“Ok hotel, expected more from a Marriott brand.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 December 2011

Overall this hotel was ok. The rooms were ok but the furniture had its share of abuse, not to bad but its starting to show. The bathroom floor needs to be replace, the shower however were clean. this hotel does have free WiFi and full breakfast for purchase even the continental. Nice indoor pool, only one computer in there business center and a nice size Marketplace. I have stayed at other Courtyard hotels that blows this hotel out of the water. I think I wouldn't stay here again. They need to downgrade from Courtyard to Fairfield.

“Old, worn, motels are nicer”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 October 2011

During recent stays at courtyards and Marriott hotels in general I have been pleased. With this particular hotel I was surprised and disappointed. The rooms are small, outdated, headboard was falling off the wall making it a safety hazard, sheets had large holes in the center of bed, bathroom was extremely outdated, and furniture was definitely worn. The pool looked nice and the ac kept the room cool but again it was no nicer than a motel 6 or Howard Johnson not what I expected from Marriott.

“Clean room, friendly staff.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 August 2011

We recently stayed at this hotel for one night. I was a little concerned about it after reading some recent reviews. However, we booked the room primarily due to a great rate. The lobby was clean and tidy. The check in person was very professional and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is not new but everything in the room was comfortable, clean and worked well –including the internet and cable. The room was quiet and thanks to the hotel’s location a few blocks away for the freeway there was no road noise in the rooms or outside the hotel. When returning from dinner the desk clerk stopped us and spoke to us and made sure we knew that he had fresh chocolate chip cookies ready for guests. The price was excellent, the room was clean, the room was quiet, everything worked well, and the staff was friendly.

Room Tip: we booked this room thorugh Priceline's name your own price service and the rate was about half...

“Horrible Place. Stay next door, it's worth the extra few dollars.”

My boyfriend and I were spending a few days at Six Flags and White Water and chose the Courtyard Marriott instead of the SpringHill Suites next door. Bad choice. The staff at the front desk were rude and carried on with personal conversations while we waited to be checked in. The room was not clean and outdated, like most Courtyard's. There is an indoor pool, which makes the lobby muggy and stinks of chlorine. Breakfast was outrageously expensive and the service was horrible. Would not stay here again.

“No Internet, No Cable, No Fun.”

I booked this hotel for a business trip on June 20, 2011 because it was close to my first meeting and I always stay in Marriott brand hotels. After I checked in (not before) I was told there was no internet or cable because "Comcast was down."

The hotel itself felt old and gross. I was pretty irritated that I was told, only after I asked what the internet code was, that there wasn't any cable or internet. I wouldn't stay there again. This hotel doesn't live up to the Marriott brand.
