“The worst hotel stay ever!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2010

The first night I checked in the desk clerk put me in 314 a non smoking room, the room smelled like someone just got finish smoking two packs of cigarettes. it is suppose to be a smoke-free hotel, so how does that happen? I told the desk clerk and he switched my room to a room 205, that smelled better. The next night the toilet in 205 would not stop running and I told the desk clerk named Dana and she was a rude one. She sent me and my family to a different room 420. I got in there and the tv was broken(I thought, you've got to be kidding me). So I sent my wife down to talk to Dana, the rude desk clerk. My wife said that she was ready to leave the hotel but only if she could be refunded for that day. Dana informed her that there was no way possible that we could be refunded. So my wife requested that we be moved again. Not once did she apologize for our inconvenience, even though we had to pack our things and move us and our two small children four times. This has got to be my worst hotel experience ever.

Momma0325 - Thank you for taking the time to discuss your stay at the Country Inn & Suites. I am happy that we were able to reinstate your reservations and get you to your room. I trust everything was as you hoped it was once you got there. I would love to discuss your concerns regarding the breakfast personally and would welcome your call. Rest assured that what you experienced is not the norm as we pride ourselves in providing a great breakfast experience to all our guests. On your next trip, to or from Birmingham, we look forward to the opportunity to seeing you again. - Chris

“Excellent Location - Superb Breakfast”

We recently stayed at this hotel on a recent trip to America. Initially we attempted to get a hotel in downtown, but decided to visit the Six Flags amusement park, and stay closer to the park. We're glad we did. This was our first time staying at a Country Inn & Suites, and we had an amazing experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast in the mornings. We're looking forward to our next trip to Atlanta and this will be our hotel of choice.

“Superb Stay!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2010

Stayed for a night on business in the area. Decided to try a different hotel after the beds at the Hilton Garden Inn were unreasonably hard.

The Country Inn seemed fairly new and was clean and easy to find. It is set off of the interstate and is conveniently located compared to the other hotels in the market.

Check-in was easy and the rooms were ready upon arrival. Rooms were well supplied, clean and comfortable. The bed was quite nice and provided a good night's sleep.

The morning breakfast was good for a continental breakfast. They had waffles and sausage. The waffles were hot and not soggy. The coffee selection was very good as well. There was a nice spread with plenty of options.

They had a business center and fitness center. The fitness center had 3 machines in it and the business center was a computer and printer. They also offered free wireless internet throughout the hotel.

Check-out was smooth and I would recommend staying there if you want a nice place, decent price, quiet, clean and home away from home.

“Great location and service, excellent value.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 September 2010

I stayed at this property for three days, as I was in the area for business and it was the first hotel I saw when I pulled off the freeway. I was very happy when I walked in and saw a clean, inviting, and HUGE lobby! The desk clerk mentioned the hotel was under new management and going through a renovation, but it looked nearly new. (except for some old stencils on the wallpaper). The room was large, as I was upgraded to a 2 room suite at no extra charge :) It was clean and comfortable and the bed was very conducive to a good night's rest. The staff went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. The breakfast area was a tad small, but still had room for me every morning. The food selection was great - I like to eat healthy when I"m on the road and they offered fresh fruit, yogurt, and oatmeal for people like me. There is also a Cracker Barrel adjacent to the hotel, so I went their for dinner. The hotel even offers free beer and food every night!!!!! Music to my ears :)
Definitely recommend this property if you're in the area.

“Nice Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 July 2010

My husband and I arrived at the hotel around 2am in the morning from a long drive. Upon entring my room the ac unit was not working properly. I explained to the front desk clerk my issue and she quickly resolved my issue. We were upgraded to a King suite for no charge! We enjoyed the pool and fitness room. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends!
