Check in was smooth and we went to our room in back of the hotel. Air was not on so the room was very musty. We thought the air would help. The room was clean but the odor was horrible and sheets were damp and musty. We checked out 2 hrs later. The hotel clerk gave us a full refund no questions asked which leads me to believe this is a every day occurance. Stay clear of this property

My wife and I were on our way back to Florida from North Carolina when we stopped at the Georgia welcome center and picked up one of the travel coupon books to find a place to stay in Kingsland, Georgia. We noticed an add for the Comfort Suites that stated "NEW ROOMS". We asked the women at the counter about the place and she said it use to be a Holiday Inn. Upon our arrival at the hotel we were pleased to see from the outside that it looked freshly painted and when we went into the lobby it seemed brand new. I said to the clerk that I see from your add you recently renovated all the hotel rooms. She said no, they just renovated the lobby and a few rooms. We should have looked for another place but decided to stay here anyway, what a mistake. Their version of high speed internet connection is an unsecured very slow server. The room was clean but the bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan and the shower curtain had some mold. The oder from the water almost made you gag. Breakfast the next morning was an experience. It was limited to breads, dougnuts and some fruit. I made my wife a waffle but I wasn't able to remove the waffle from the machine because someone lost the tongs. The place needs to torn down and rebuilt it's OLD.

On January 15th we checked into the motel, at first they didn't have a 1st floor room for us but after my husband and I decided we would take an upstairs room he came out and said they all of a sudden had a vacant room and we checked in...the room was in the back of the motel which i wasn't sure of but as we were staying only one nite i thougth it was O.K...they called immediately to see if the room was o.k. and i said so far as I could see!!! I thought the door looked like it had been repaired but as we had the card I thought it was safe. To make the story short we went to supper were gone about 1/2 hour and when we returned everything looked o.k. We checked out the next morning and proceeded to Fort Meyers and the next morning as I was unpacking I discovered we had been robbed.!!! They took all my cash and family jewelry!!!! I feel we were definitly set up for this robbery. We later found out there had been other robberies there so I would strongly warn you about staying here. I am sure I will never see my things again but do hope the police can some day catch the thieves. The mngmt said no one could enter the room but obviously they did!

It was dirty and dusty!
We came in dropped things off, went to eat. When we got back our room door would not open! Went the front desk and the guy was clueless as ever. He changed it 3 times and still wouldn't open. We waited in the cold and he finally came back and said well you stay in another room. We responded "NO, our stuff is in there and moms sugar medicine are in there that she has to have". Finally 30mins later another guy came up and tried to unlock the door, he couldn't. Then he went and got a flat head screw driver and popped the door open!!!! We got everything told them we are leaving. Made them sign something that we wouldn't get charged. We left didn't ever stay one night.
