We drive to Florida so we can take our wonderful dog. Since not all hotels are pet friendly it is always a struggle to find a nice place to stay along the route. This year we found the La Quinta Inn in Kinsgland, Georgia and we are so glad we did. The hotel is very nice: the lobby is very updated , warm and welcoming;. the rooms are also very nice and very clean and the beds are comfortable Breakfast is also provided which is great when you are traveling. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. This is a great place to stay with or without a pet, but for pet owners whose choices are limited, thiis La Quinta should be your number one choice when traveling along I 95 to Florida. My husband and I strongly recommend it

I was impressed with the quality of this hotel. My room was clean and the staff was very professional and friendly. The cleaning staff was very attentive.

The breakfast area was always well stocked and clean.

I also appreciated that the coffee was always fresh and hot.

We stayed at this hotel for 9 nights (July 22-30, 2010) while we were visiting with family in the St. Mary's area. I can not say enough good things about this hotel. Generally we try to stay at 4* or 5* hotels for extended stays and though the hotel had good ratings on Trip Advisor, I was a bit nervous. I can honestly say this was one of the best stays we have had. Price was amazingly cheap (price was not an issue for us, but it was nice to say that we stayed here for less than $65/night on average) and the location was prime (just off 95 at exit 3). The staff was tremendous, helpful, and very friendly. The morning breakfast was a nice treat, though I only made it a few times (late nights), but had everything you need to start the day. The room was a really nice size with new and contemporary furnishings, complete with a refrig, coffee maker, microwave, etc...Bathroom is really nice, good size, elegant tile and overall was very nice! As a couple who travels with their pets, you would have not noticed how many pets stayed here, as the rooms are generally quiet, pet owners were very courteous of other guests, and our room looked and seemed brand new...in other words, we had no idea this hotel was two years old, and there were no signs of pet stains, etc.
Also, the pool and hot tub were a nice added amenity, though it was around 105 outside every day...but still a nice touch and great size too!

Overall we were very impressed and would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in this area. We would especially like to thank Dustin (day shift) and Pam (evening shift) for their hospitality, kindness, and assistance throughout.

I am so impressed with La Quinta. I had no idea how nicely appointed they are. I love the modern, crisp, clean feel when I walk in. The room has a nice size business desk, larger than average mini-fridge, a microwave, coffee maker w/coffee, hair dryer, bright white sheets, new carpeting, tile in bathroom, and fresh, modern decor throughout. With my AAA, I paid a rate of $64+tax per night. Most importantly, my pet was allowed and welcomed...with NO pet fee, completely unheard of. It's so nice that people with moderate incomes have such a lovely option when traveling alone or with pets.
