We were skeptical because of the killer rate.$36....that was not a typo. This hotel is no Hilton or Embassy Suites but it was exactly what we needed.
It was clean, the beds were comfy and convienent to everything we needed. Maybe a little cosmetic attention but I walked around in white socks and the carpet was clean.

We didn't try the free breakfast but it did look like everyone else's. Including the famous waffle iron!

I would have giving it a complete excellent rating but it seems I walked in between desk clerks an got an earful about what was wrong with the other. Customers should never be drawn into disagreements between employees.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast excellent and there were many choices. The pool was cool after a long hot day at Cumberland Island.

This was a budget hotel looking to be more. The bed was great and the room a nice size. They had nice soap and towels, the make your own waffle machine, etc but somehow still lacking the "Inn & Suites" kind of feel of the name brands right down the road. Shares part of the parking lot with a VERY budget motel. Maybe that is what it really is - it has more of a local motel feel to it.
On the plus side the price was very acceptable to what I got and the staff- front desk and housekeeping were very friendly. In the end it is a good bargain if you need inexpensive but want more than the typical bargain room.

Booked this through a website that won't give you the name until you pay. They said it was a 2.5 star hotel. A coat of paint to an old Days Inn doestn't give it a higher star rating. The staff was friendly, the room had trash on the floor and the sink didn't drain properly. I was disappointed to say the least. It is good place to crash if you're planning on stopping late and leaving early..
