The rooms were clean and the view superb. The staff was extremely friendly, and the outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the ocean can't be beat! I would definitely stay there again (and again).

I read all of the reviews before staying here and to be honest I was very apprehensive but chose to stay here anyway as we really wanted to travel with our dogs and they do not have a weight limit. Check-in was a breeze. The lady who checked us in was wonderful; for that matter everyone was. There was not a single employee during my three day stay that did not greet us when they saw us. We always stay in high end hotels when we travel and have not received the service we received while staying here. The rooms are dated and do need some attention BUT they were CLEAN and NO BUGS (one of my fears). The view was amazing and the grounds are very nice. It is dark at night but anyone who stays on the coast should understand the importance of this for the marine life, besides what better way to enjoy the stars while listening to the ocean? If you are looking for The Ritz then I wouldn't stay here but for the price, the view, and the service you cannot beat it. I would surely stay here again. Keep up the good work!!

Stayed here numerous times and have always been pleased - military discounts offered- clean- not outdated- functional amenities - nice televisions in the rooms- can't beat the price and quality

Once again, I was very pleased with my stay at the Oceanside Inn and Suites. Yes, the place is an older facility. I'll take that any day over a high rise. Yes, there are sand spurs in the grass...so walk on the beach with your dog. There are miles and miles of it. You can walk on grass anywhere. You only get to walk on an ocean beach in very limited places. Yes, it is dark at night. But, you know what? You can actually see the stars at night. I'm GLAD this place doesn't use so many chemicals that the grass can't seed (sand spurs). I'm glad the lack of night lights encourage sea turtles to successfully nest. I'm glad a ritzier company has not stolen a two story motel type place and replaced it with a high rise. Someday soon it probably will. Until then, my dogs and I are committed to return over and over again to the Oceanside.
