The room was basic and clean enough. No bells or whistles, but the staff was friendly and helpful and the room was fine as a stopover on the way to Tampa. Nice pillows and the shower was actually great. Good pressure and temperature. Don't expect anything fancy and you'll be fine.

If you want to pay more, you can probably find nicer in Hinesville, but we like to just arrive late, sleep and then get back on the road. The price was right and the rooms were fine.

Arrangements for our stay were made by a second party for business purposes.

When we arrived we were immediately met with the sight of 20-30 individuals loitering outside of the the hotel along with another 15-20 loitering in the courtyard. Thought OK, maybe at least the room will be clean. NOT EVEN CLOSE! Bathroom was moldy, PUBIC hair in tub along with a USED bar of soap with pubic hair still intact. The carpet couldn't possibly have been swept, much less vacummed -it was literally littered with cat hair and when we turned back the bedspread for a quick check, the underlying blanket was covered with cat hair as well, (by the way, my husband is allergic to cat dander), and the interior of micro-wave oven was almost eaten-up by rust or some kind of crud that looked like rust.

We returned to the office & reported what we'd found. The receptionist was extremely apologetic & offered another room (#163). We didn't want to offend the party who'd made arrangements for our stay so we agreed to take a look-see. Room furnishings were somewhat nicer, but carpet still not vacummed & the room had a peculiar odor. When I checked the micro-wave, it was loaded with take-out boxes of moldy hamburgers.

We returned to the office to let them know that we wouldn't be staying there & to seek reimbursement of funds. Receptionist had to contact manager by phone to discuss & in overhearing their conversation, I was left with the impression that room #163 is what they offer as an upgrade to complaining customers. They offered us an upgrade to a Suite but we wouldn't stay here on a dime!

We decided to pay for our accommodations out-of-pocket just to be somewhere where we're not afraid to leave our vehicle in the parking lot for fear of break-in; to be able to sleep somewhere where we're not afraid of having roaches crawl over our faces in the middle of the night; to wake up the next morning safely; and to return home without taking bed-bugs or some other god-awful disease home with us!

We rented a double room for 3 nights. It appeared that the room had not been cleaned (certainly not vaccumed) in some time. There was a subway wrapper on the floor under the bed and hair on the counter next to the sink. The television was very fuzzy and it was very difficult to watch anything/hear anything over the noise of the fuzz. Ironically, the word "repaired" was written on the upper corner of the screen. The wireless internet was useable for literally 30 minutes of our entire stay. The floors were so bad, I didnt want to get out of bed without my shoes on, much less let my 4 year old nephew run around the room. On the upside, the coffee was good and the pool area seemed very clean the afternoon we spent there.

Booked 2 rooms here for a last minute travel to the area over the July 4th weekend. I was reluctant to stay here since there were a few bad reviews on various travel websites, but did it anyway. I booked 1 double-room suite and 1 regular double-room (because that was all they had left) and reserved it online. When I showed up to check in the counter agent told me that the double bed room suite was NOT available, but "down for maintenance". I asked for the manager, but was told that the manager was not available for the weekend. That should have been my FIRST clue to problems to come. So, ok, I got the card keys to the room and went to check them out. Not sure if their housekeeping even checked these rooms but there were dead roaches in the fridge and a few in the bathroom. So again I said, ok, maybe this was one of those rooms that haven’t been checked out in some time and let it slide. Came back to the room later that evening (went to savannah to hang out), and tried to get some sleep. It was ok, the mattress are NOT the best, but it will do when you are tired.TV reception for cable was intermittent, which is strange for cable. The second night I stayed in the room, I awoke in the middle of the night to a roach crawling across the bed spread, a few on the table in the room and a few in the tub. It looked as if the roaches were renting the room instead of me. I submitted a complaint to choice, although I don’t expect them to do much. I decided from then on to LISTEN to these review and trust them from now on.
