“Never again”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 November 2011

This was a nightmare. We have stayed at numerous other Quality Inns and they have been very nice so we didn't ask to see the room first. We booked it for 2 nights. The room wasn't very clean and the windows were filthy. They hadn't been washed for a very long time. The carpets were not clean around the edges of anything. We were tired and we didn't feel like packing everything back in the car so we stayed. There were only a few other contractors staying there the first night. The next night was the worst. After working 13 hours at the Base we were extremely tired and we had to be up really early in the a.m. to again work a long day. The room next to us was occupied this time and it was party central. At 10:00 p.m. we finally called the front desk to complain about the extreme noise coming from the next room. An hour later it was just as noisy and nothing had been done about it by the front desk. There were people in the parking lot and in front of our room yelling. After yet again another call to the front desk we were told that she had to wait until the person on the next shift came in. She then proceeded to tell us that there were only supposed to be 2 people in that room like we shouldn't be complaining about the noise that only 2 people could be making. Well there were about 30 to 40 people in that room. When the front desk personnel finally came down we went out to where they all were. We were then told that they were just celebrating the one girls birthday. Excuse me, then go down town and celebrate. Don't do it in a motel room where other customers are trying to sleep. It was like we were just supposed to deal with it. They finally, after alot of arguing, made everyone leave that room. It was now after midnite when we got back in our room. So much for a good nights sleep. The next morning after waking up just as tired as when we finally went to sleep, we checked out and were told they made an adjustment to our room. It was the $3.00 fee that they had charged for the safe that we didn't even use. OK, now I'm really po-ed. We called the manager later in the day and were told he was in a meeting and he would call back. No call back so we called again. He was not very pleasant. He tried to tell us that we had been offered a different room. NO we hadn't and why should we have had to pack everything up at midnight and move to another room even if they had offered. Great customer satisfaction buddy. He then stated he would have to talk to the staff and see what they had to say. Again no call back that day. The next day we finally received a phone call from the girl that was at the desk that night stating that there would be a minimal adjustment to our bill charge. They should have not charged us for that night at all. Due to our work, we have stayed in a motel/hotel for about 5 weeks all over the south and southwest and this was the worst motel we stayed in out of all of them. This motel is nasty and should be inspected.

Room Tip: Ask to see the room first before you book it. If it's dirsty just leave. We wish we had.

“Bedbugs :(”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 June 2011 via mobile

Found two bedbugs and a blood streak on my bedding sheet the second night of my stay here.
Noted old food and debris from other patrons around the bed's base.
Moved to new room- no signs of bedbugs, but there were old toenail clippings. Gross. Check out time can't come quickly enough...

“very horrible and just plain nasty”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 May 2011

Hotel had roaches, bugs in tub, broken chairs, staines on linen. This hotel needs to be condemned. For the price it should be 19.99. I will never do a Quality inn ever.

“WOW”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 December 2010

The service at check-in was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and had a warm personality.
After check-in and trying to enter the room, I had a hard time opening and closing the door. I reported it to the desk clerk and she stated to pull and push extra hard on the door instead of getting a repairman to repair the door. The room was comfortable; although, the carpet needed cleaning and no pillow covers were available. The shower curtain needed changing but the bathroom was clean. There was a refrigerator and microwave available for use.
The location is wonderful!!! The hotel sits away from the main road in a corner. It is close to several fast food and sit in dining restaurants. A great Chinese restaurant is located directly in front of the hotel. I tried the food and it was great! Shopping plazas are located approximately 2 miles away. Ft. Stewart is less than 5 minutes driving distance away.
I loved the landscaping of the hotel; although, it needed some TLC.
My 2nd night there I had to call the front desk to report loud noises. The hotel is located in front of a club. I could not sleep due to car horns blowing, screaming people, and the overall static of night life of the club.
I would stay at this hotel again if it is for only an overnight visit. BUT, they would have to give me a room on the other side of the hotel!

“Do not stay here!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2010

My husband and I booked this hotel online for 4 days when we came to Fort Stewart. Upon arriving we immediately started looking for another pet-friendly hotel. The room was awful! Mold, bugs, cobwebs, a hole in the ceiling! My husband was having eye surgery and we were not about to risk his health in this room. So we checked out ~2 hours later after finding another hotel. They were to charge us for the night, which was fine with us. Instead they charged us the 4 nights we didn't stay plus an additional night! Instead of checking us out she checked us in again! We were still checked in 16 days later I found out after I called! The woman was so rude. They attempted to refund our money they claim and charged us an additional $400! So now they still owe us $674! I have never been so angry! Is this the way we treat our military?! DO NOT STAY HERE! And if you do risk catching diseases in this hotel, watch for overcharges!
