Clean, neat, pleasant management. Pool clean and well kept. Little weak on breakfast, but still a great value for the price.
Would stay again.

This hotel is over priced even at $75 per night which is what we paid. We did not have a reservation, just decided to spend the night in Helen after a long day of shopping, tubing, etc. The room we got had one king bed, no clock, no hair dryer, no table. Just a bed and a TV (with no remote even) VERY Basic room. I might have not complained for $40 per night which is what this place is worth. No breakfast except stale danishes with fruit flies. Front desk clerk even gave a hotel guest money to go get her cigerettes while I was checking in. However, the place was nearly sold out so it also left for every little sleeping since the place was crawling with partiers and children.

No posted check in/out time, do not attempt to check in prior to 3pm the Manager will read you the riot act. She was rude, obnoxious, totally unprofessional. Towels were sour, office unattended so we could not exchange for clean. Second time no towels in the room at all! The rooms smell moldy/musty. We have been there often, it has changed hands and has gone down hill. Highly recommend save your hard earned money and go anywhere else. Will not return, too many nice places to stay that want your business!

The hotel was in walking distance to downtown Helen, GA. The staff was very nice and eager to help me. The rooms were clean and it was very inexpensive to stay. there are no glits and glitter to this hotel, so if you just need a place to crash, this is the hotel for you.
