Barbara and Frankie run a wonderful B&B! My wife and I were immediately impressed with the scenic hilltop location, the tasteful holiday decor, and the warm fire awaiting us upon arrival. April's room is small, but cozy and perfect for a short romantic getaway. The house has a secluded feel, yet is close enough to Main Street that we walked down for dinner each evening. Breakfast is fresh, hot, and delicious. All this, and the price is very reasonable. Stay here if you come through Helen.

My wife and I have stayed with Frankie and Barbara over so many years that they have become close friends. They are wonderful hosts with the best breakfast in Helen. The rooms are well kept and clean. The location is great with a short walk to town center (most of the parking is only a little closer) but on a hill overlooking the town, so it is quiet for a great nights rest. We have stayed in many B & Bs over the years, but we give Frankie and Barbara our highest rating and voted the best B & B we have ever stayed at!

This B & B had great reviews so we decided to check it out. This place was beyond what we expected. We stayed in the "blue room", and it was very clean, and cozy. The fireplace was filled with wood and ready to go. Frankie made us feel beyond welcome, and the property and the view were simply beautiful. I will highly recommend the Alpine Hilltop Haus to anyone visiting the area. Oh, and the breakfast was delicious!

We stayed at the Alpine Hilltop Haus for a 2 night weekend during Oktoberfest 2011. This was the most wonderful place to stay ever! We felt right a home from the very minute we arrived. Frankie & Barbara were very gracious hosts, and their home is one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed at. Beautiful quilts on the comfy bed, top of the line towels and linens. Breakfast was very good both mornings, with special homemade recipes, like apple stuffed french toast! A very short walk down the hill to shopping, restaurants and festivities. Did I say clean? The absolute cleanest rooms ever! I need to stop, or I'll never be able to get a room reserved there again. Book early to get a room with the sweetest inn keepers in the southest!
