Stayed at this property for 4 nights. The front desk and "morning breakfast" staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel is convenient to a few dining options (not great, but something), to include an IHOP, which is right next door, McDonalds and Quiznos. As is the case with all (I think) Hampton Inn properties, they offer a hot breakfast which is convenient. Also, since it's "downtown" Gainesville there is easy access to drugstores (CVS), convenience stores, etc.
This property does not include an exercise room but they do provide access to a nearby gym free of charge for the during of your stay.
The rooms are very average but are clean and comfortable. One thing that I wasn't thrilled about is that they offered smoking rooms so if you end up getting stuck in a non-smoking one that is right next to a smoking room (which I did) you get some occasional odor. I don't know if it was just the week that I was there or not but I heard sirens a LOT every night. The traffic right outside the property is extremely heavy during peak time periods (before/after work).
Overall it was a decent place to stay for a work trip. I've certainly stayed at better but it wasn't horrible. There are a few other options on the same road as well if you're interested (Holiday Inn for one).
Room Tip: If you are NOT a smoker, ask to be placed away from the smoking rooms, if possible (I don't know...
