My husband , daughter, and I were travelling from Michigan to home in Florida. We had driven until late and needed sleep bad. We went to Tradewinds because it was close to the freeway and we needed to save time. The first room we were given was totally unacceptable. My husband was so tired he just wanted something with a bed to stretch out on. The second room was in some ways even worse, but seeing my poor husbands condition, I decide not to argue. I would just sleep in the car thank you. Well, considering the likes of the people roaming the parking lot, I decided that sleeping in that awful room was the lesser of the two evils. As soon as my husband was rested, we got the heck out of there and now "Tradewinds" is just a bad joke in our family.

My boyfriend and I stayed there for about two months because with his work we travel. The rooms are big. It may not be a perfect motel but it's not bad either. The room I was in was nice. They keep the rooms clean and neat. Bedding is changed every day and everything is cleaned every day. If you need a place to sleep and you are in Forsyth the Tradewinds Motel is cheap and clean. A new walmart just opened recently across the street and it is open for 24 hours. The old walmart was not a supercenter which is the reason that it only stayed open until 9pm.

I wish there was a negative star rating available. We were travelling from Indiana to Florida for Spring Break and decided to stop here because it was close to US75. The room was FILTHY, the lock on the door was loose and there was a crackhead/homeless person that was camping out outside our room. My boyfriend and I tried to go to the WalMart across the street for pillows because the ones in the room were badly stained and smelled horrible. Turns out the WalMart there closes at 9pm. So we all slept on top of the covers, fully clothed, with sweatshirts and hoods on our heads for fear of catching lice. PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE!!!! YOU'LL REGRET IT!!!!
