We make frequent trips to Atlanta and have also had good experiences with Hyatt in the past---so we gave this location a shot. It was terrible. When you walk in the lobby, the first impression is good. That is where it ends. The room we had was worn---very worn. Couch was very dingy and carpets had stains. Not impressive---but appeared pretty clean. So we went with it. Then, we discovered the sink drained VERY slowly---not all that nice when kids are brushing teeth. We notified front desk who said they would have a maint. man first thing in the morning. Did not happen. After more conversation, we were going to move to another room. I went and checked the new room. The furniture was worse---even had burns holes. AND the sink did not drain properly. And this was true in even another room. Completely unacceptable. In addition, the bath tubs were really odd in that if felt like the center of them had failed and was trapping water---as when you stepped anywhere in the tub it squished. VERY odd.
Beyond the room, the breakfast was quite skimpy but what really got to me was that there was no Hyatt person manning the breakfast. So, they were out of things, tables were not cleaned, the floor was not cleaned, and the trash was more than overflowing.
I was shocked at my experience here and will never stay here again. TripAdvisor seriously let us down on this one.
